Once you are in map overview you can chose to go anywere on map for the least amount of stam possible to get there. I don't really see the downfall to this it is not really giving you a huge bonus except saving you loads and loads of time say you are going to a relic or if you are going back for a relic to the The realm you were prviously in especially if you were last hunting a West Location. as I said no real problems with it just saves time. and stam for places with alot of open area and you may not take shortest route to your destination and this would save you stam.

can't see this happening... the overview allows you to see the shortest route already.. But you still have to walk there.

This would give SE hunters that buy locations an amazing advantage over those that look for the SE's. This is the only disadvantage I really see but if HCS wants to encourage people to look for their own SE's then I don't see this happening. Since I do neither - don't really care. But seems that there is some effort to make movement to locations take a bit of time.

You know how much computational power path finding algorithms take?
Not to mention they are not the easiest ones to implement.

But if it helps, you can move on map overview with arrow keys or numpad if you have my plugin installed ;)

ya, the numpad movement option would be very helpful... as for the other, short of beaming you from place to place, I don't see how it would work without being insanely counterproductive to incorporate... and if you're looking to be beamed, you're in the wrong genre of RPG.

I like the idea of this. Will really help out when there is a lot of lag like when the LE event are on.

Also might help people on dial-up internet (If that still exists)
