The members are when they join the guild the chickens. They get their existence (items etcetera from the guild).
However if you take away the chickens, their is no egg.
So in other words, a guild needs members. But most members need to be able to rely on a guild also.
Only exception is phool, he's the egg and the chicken... :shock:

The guild and all its members belong to the guild founder. For the guild founder can destroy it, can kick everyone and reduce it to ashes. It's how the game is built.
Of course, some of the founders choose the democratic/consultative approach but it's just because he wants to (and because it is better in the long run).
I have been kicked from a guild I really cared about because of a difference in opinions over the guild rank titles. I know what I'm talking about.
