The guild belongs to the founders. Without the founders there wouldn't have been a guild. So the founders are actually the "egg".

The members are when they join the guild the chickens. They get their existence (items etcetera from the guild).

However if you take away the chickens, their is no egg.

So in other words, a guild needs members. But most members need to be able to rely on a guild also.

Only exception is phool, he's the egg and the chicken...

Go on...

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

A guild is a made up thing. Members are people.

Made up things belong to people not the other way around.

To quote one of my favourite books "he who can destroy a thing controls it".

The guild and all its members belong to the guild founder. For the guild founder can destroy it, can kick everyone and reduce it to ashes. It's how the game is built.

Of course, some of the founders choose the democratic/consultative approach but it's just because he wants to (and because it is better in the long run).

I have been kicked from a guild I really cared about because of a difference in opinions over the guild rank titles. I know what I'm talking about.

Neither. The members ARE the guild.
