i love the idea of a wandering merchant! not sure it needs to be as technical as it is (items, drops, etc)... perhaps the merchant could simply sell special potions not avaliable in the AH or special whatevers. heck, he could even sell AH potions with the benefit being no bidding or waiting. potions would be bound. once a player shops, he can't shop again for a set period of time. additionally, once the merchant has been seen/visited and/or a purchase made while in a particular location, he continues his journey (we certainly don't need the SB filled with "merchant location" posts).

since the merchant is coming to you and offers expedited service he could demand a premium for the wares. another gold sink!

I like the idea, but it need some tweaking. one of the other guys are right, NO LE items especially for a few gold, too much abuse for higher lvls and bad for the AH. this murchant can also be spread throughout the game and not just in Krlu Island. Maybe like in locations of every 25 lvls or so and items sells are based off these lvls like the murchants already set on the maps. this is also a chance that new items can be brought into the game expanding gear combinations.

I would like the idea of a wandering merchant who appears randomly at 1 time daily who sells special stuff like LE items/Spine/SE...

An example -

Wandering Merchant on let say Krul Island (2,2)

You saw the merchant and click on it

The merchant offers various items like Reborn Dragon Amulet/Plague Gauntlet/Fire Dragon Ring/Cereberus Shield/Thonomoth Sword/Reborn Leaf Boots/Helm of the Deep/Rune of Decay/etc

These items will be sold in gold however, the player had to have enough gold on hand at that time and had to defeat the monster which drops the item thus if i choose Rune of Decay, i had to kill The Host

Noting that if i failed to kill the creature / dun have enough gold at hand- the merchant will disappeared and will not appear for another day

Wat do you guys think of that?
