My vote is keep it rare, and let the market demand drive price up. FI 1000 should be rare, because otherswise SE drops and other things could become too common, thus defeating the purpose. If everybody has it, its not so "rare" anymore :-)
I agree.
But they could add in a few more FI potions with lower levels, 500 or something like that.

once it gets to 2 million then they have to do something about it.
it would be nice if there was a fi500 potion that was added for use to make. i NEED more potions to make : )))))

1 million gold is perfectly fine for something you can make alot more gold/fsp with, if you use it right.

Having players make FI 500 pots would be nice - thats a great idea :-) I agree that there could always be more recipes, lol (We need a recipe content management system, or RCMS for short, to manage these boys. Folders, filing cabinets, notes, statistsics about what recipes work best, lol)
Good point!

putting a couple more in at a time wouldnt be a bad idea. supply/demand. people are growing in levels everyday and that means more people that are needing fi1000 for multiple reasons.
plus with the holloweves event most likely coming up, the price and need for this potion will surely rise rapidly
they should put more fi1000 in auction house(if they can, dont know if its a random generator that picks the amount) and they should make fi500 recipes. with legendary events nowadays, the creatures seem to have a lower drop rate. this will help out with having a bit more fun with those smaller levels that could make these potions themselves and be able to drop better. this would ease the rising price of fi1000 also.

With the addition of so many new pots there are just fewer old pots like FI1k and FI250...
I was just outbid on a FI250 pot. The bid: 350k
I'm not complaining here just stating fact. I feel sorry for those that cannot afford the game cost. Before they were also <100k for the same pot...
I'd only ask that supply be increased. Double it...
The new pots aren't that usable in everyday play(except the Dulledge pot).
I remember reading the "Special" AH pot section was just meant to get a price so pots could be sold in stores. What happened to that??
Two cents...

First of all they are insanely powerful and should remain rare. Secondly you can still buy them for under 500k you just need to be patient. For the OP's level they should be able to get that much in one hunting session. Finally there are 4 FI potions. FI 1k, FI 500, FI 400 (Potion of Discovery probably among the rarest items in the game) and FI 250.
FI 500 are still plentiful there are currently 4 pages of them in the AH and I'm sitting on at least 16 of them. FI 1ks are more plentiful but also that much more useful. But when you can turn a 5 fsp item into a 300 fsp item then it should remain hard to get a hold of. I also assure you FI 750 would just mean that FI 1k would go down slightly and this new potion would also be absurdly expensive.
By the way just wait a couple weeks. I have a feeling the majority of people are just stocking up now on FI potions.

Please HCS please consider removing FI1000. Dont worry about losing a gold sink because the people who are buying FI1000 will just start buying FI250 at higher prices. It will still sink gold and do away with a problem in the game.

So in your opinion supply is the same?
Is that what, "uhhh... no" means?
I'm not trying to debate you on the uniqueness of the potions and their necessity to the game. FI500s are no longer available except by buying from players who have hoarded them. Their numbers are diminishing. FACT! 4 pages in the AH is nothing compared to the 50+ pages they once were.
I guess we should just accept the fact that higher potion costs will result in higher costs for everything you want to buy in the auction house, mainly SE sets and elite sets. This will exclude players who do not/cannot donate from using many game pieces thereby causing many to just quit the game I assure YOU.
Hey I don't have a problem with the costs. I will adjust my sales prices accordingly. This is not good for the game at all.
With all due respect, rulen, keep hoarding your FI500 pots and hope HCS allows the prices of FI1k and FI250 to rise... Hold on to items that used to cost less then 5 fsp for 10 months that I've been playing and make a measly 15 fsp(the cost of a bp slot).
I just disagree w/ you that they are not in shorter supply. They are!

Well, I would like to see FI1000 removed from the game all together. Level 500 (flamedeer juice) is more than high enough, plus we would still have FI250. FI1000 isnt good for the game at all IMHO. Yeah it makes more gear drop and more people can use it because the prices are lower, but it still should be removed, without it we might actually have a few more LE events, without it the MP would be more stable, without it the AH wouldnt be so cluttered, without it then maybe a LE drop would become special again. Without it we wouldnt be wondering if HCS nerfs an elite or Super elite drop rate because of the potion, without it then maybe hunting baron or cockatrice SE would become a different story (way it is now its on autodrop with FI1000).
Please HCS please consider removing FI1000. Dont worry about losing a gold sink because the people who are buying FI1000 will just start buying FI250 at higher prices. It will still sink gold and do away with a problem in the game.

alot of people even farm item sets with fi1000 which brings more equipment in the game, making it cheaper for everyone to buy.
why do you want to make everything that much more expensive by making the fi1000 cost more or by even taking it out(ridiculous)

I agree that FI 500 is in shorter supply, but as there are still at least 30 up for auction right now and plenty of others hoarding them I still believe that they are still plentiful enough that if people want to purchase them they are available.
And I will hold them. I'll make 15 fsp off each one and end up with over 500 fsp during the next LE not including the fsp I'll make with the 3 FI 1ks that I'll use to farm items. It may not be much to people such as you who have been able to make tons of fsp but for those who do not have a lot of fsp it is a way that we can guarantee to make a few fsp and perhaps start SE hunting again.
My point was that FI 1ks are in Greater supply than FI 500s and cost roughly 5-10 fsp. Since all SE hunters buy them up, I feel that they (myself included) are comfortable with that price and thus if someone wants a FI 1k they should save up like I do or simply do without.

If you'd like to continue the conv. you may pm me, but I don't want to detract from the original point of this thread and so I probably won't respond anymore on here. I've said what I've had to say.

I purchased some FI 1000, and FI 250 weeks ago when they cost me 300-400k and 60-70k..
So now we complain that we need more pots in specials?
Keep them as they are, keep them as a luxury..
If you want them, pay the price!
