moving in mortis dramoris small hut

level 1500 to begin

angelic class only

you see a small run down hut with a light on inside

approach

as you approach a man runs from inside shouting and screaming
" they have reappeared ....should i dare say it........REBORN!!"
the mans hysterics make you feel uneasy so you ask how you can help so you may exit quickly,
"help? ...yes you can help slay me 200 mortis reborn and that is help enough"

you have killed 200/2000 mortis reborn

approach man

now that was quick and simple hmm i suppose i should teach you how to hurt them like they did me


you learn "multi hurt" you gain 3500000 xp

multi hurt hurts the enemy ten times per 1 click hurting damage varies on the hp of the creature
:) 8)

these skills multi hurt and multi blood suck would be good for both demon and angel classes :wink:

Looks a bit more adventageous to angelic though. Did you realize that blood suck only 'hurts' the creature for 1hp each time? I dont know how much 'hurt' does, but I'm quiet sure its more than 1.

I have to say this Quest is Bogus, compare to the demon

Demons need to waste 2000AP for Blood

while angels just walk in hop skip and a jump to the quest

No, thats stupid, and totally unfair to all demons who would go for the skill.

waste 2USPs and then 2-4 for killing 200mortis reborn WTH

As it is hurt really isn't all that useful so I don't care too much either way, but it would be nice seeing something done with it.

Look at that, everyone: GmbH here actually considers the WHOLE IDEA not only the superficial numbers and details. Why, he even went so far as to offer some possible solutions and reinforce the positive qualities of the concept.

What did others do? (Not all others, mind you, but a few people.) Immediately bitched about the idea as if it's an all-or-nothing vote process. How knee-jerk can you get?

GmbH, thanks for trying to make the idea work, rather than just come up with excuses to tear it down. You're a helluva guy.

Now, as for the idea itself, I don't know enough about classes besides my own, but I think anytime you have a class-specific quest, you need to come up with tasks and rewards which evenly cover all the classes (and often their potential subclass options). So, if you're making something that utilizes an angel-specific skill, try coming up with a similar quest concept for demons, titans, elves, etc.

I know, I know... you all hate giving elves anything new. To me, fair is fair - make a class-specific quest for angels, but find a way to make a similar quest for the rest, too.

But in all seriousness, these Quests or nothing more then AP sucking bastages. There is no way to equal the skills out Bloodsuck compared to Hurt. figure that out for me if you can.

Bloodsuck 1AP = 1blood point
Hurt 1AP= a whole ton of DMG to any Undead,Vampire, Necromancer and spirit i think.

Make those equal and then come talk, until then this quest and the one for blood suck are BS.

if it was spirit i would beat ups the upset ghost but its not

Yeah... because when you hurt a creature, it doesn't just do a PERCENTAGE of the HP instead of the same amount of damage EVERY time...

What EVERY time are you talking about? If its Demonic Wraith, then you may need to take a look and see that Celestials get the same dmg modifier.

What I'm saying is that Eld assumes that every time you hurt a mob, it does th same amount of damage... when it's acctually based on a % of the mob's HP.
