Right now the big thing that everyone is interested in is the GvG conflicts so lets use that. Right now the cost of initiating a conflict is 1 FSP and some small gold amount. If we eliminate the FSP from it and simply increase the gold amount. It is of course a small gold sink but the way it is currently working it is acting as an FSP sink more than a gold sink and thus driving up the cost of FSP in yet another way.

yeah, 2 or 3 months ago the Steamwork Cuirass was only 180 fsp, thats very doable for someone looking to buy it that cant afford or does not donate to the game, now its at 350 fsp, which means someone cant hunt and try to have there own guild at that lvl range

I dont know if this has been suggeted or not but how about being able to repair crystalline items, it would cost 2-3 times the amount of gold.

The whole point of them being crystalline is not being able to repair it.

i think add the new skill " SACRIFICE" as fast as possible.
also make a criteria. other than stam, players gold will also be deducted depending upon the level of the buff.
This way people using this skill will have to pay depending upon the level of this skill needed.
and every successive use of this skill during that day should increase the gold charge by 5% per use during that day.
this skill should be allowed to be manageable as counter attack.

 this looks like a super movie act. much entertaining 8) and gold sinking

 Best idea

create a bank in the game where players can request gold(like FSP Marketplace)for a particular interest
also deposit gold for loan at a particular interest rates.
2%
5%
10%
15%
30%
50%
100%

cut giving loan taxes
also the players can take loan of not more than 100x their virtual levels.

This way gold will be in demand.. :) :D

Why not have a lottery? like pay gold/fsp for a lottery ticket? And could happen twice a day since there are alot of people who is playing Fallen Sword and more are still joining

EDIT: Or a place were we can gamble? Like poker perhaps? Blackjack? Casino :)

There used to be a lottery but HCS removed it as they don't have a gambling licence for their games.

lol?
Its just a game without using real money

except fsp though but we can always not include that

since 2m a day, 20 sucks since only 1 out of 100k Players gets it

Yet another Gold sink Idea I have. A chance to strip FSP from old worthless gear.

-Will get rid of some of the junk in the AH taking up space on servers.
-Will cause players to purge their backpacks, taking up less space on the servers.
-Will be a gold sink, as gold will be paid to the game.
-Could add Potions to the Special section of the AH as a gold sink.
-Could answer part of the call for level 800 Buffs. . .

Add another feature to the game called "Salvage" Right below Hellforge. you click the link, and get a screen almost identical to the Hellforge screen. Same type of gold usage scale to use as hellforging, but maybe 2-3 times higher. The chance should not be 100%, so, much like crafting, let there be a chance to do it poorly. (say normal chance is to strip the item of 35% of FSPs, and by potions or buffs, you could increase your chances)

i like the strip idea the only problem i would see with it is look at the loads and loads of crap on the ah .... i think it would be kind of hard to implement fairly the person who is online at the time of the post could invest a very small amount and make loads and loads of fsp solely for seeing the update and being online ......perhaps if they did something like made post and cleared the ah of all items and sent them all back to you with a timer 24+ what ever your post time remaining was .....that might work and save them a head ache of people complaining about fairness off it and they would also have to make sure that the post stayed on the front page for as long as the longest item was up as well as doing it at random without letting people know when it is happening so the select few can not profit from the lack of information of others

How about tiered auctions for AH special potions. Every 100 levels puts you in a different tier with a more appropriate minimum bid. So for EW1000, something like this:
Lvl Min Bid
1-100 5000
101-200 50000
201-300 100000
301-400 200000
401-500 300000
501-600 400000
601-700 500000

And, the number of auctions that spawn are related to the number of player in that tier that are currently logged on. This way everyone has a chance to purchase these potions. And, there will be less potions available at higher levels, thus increasing their value.

how about buying a pet as a companion? it can have stats which can help the player. money can be spent to acquire the pet and to upgrade it. it fights alongside the adventurer.

I really like that ideal :D ( i want cat.. no a wolf ...) lol

Why not put a limit on how much a player can get gold per day/week? It can not add up though.

Also, in PvP attacks, make it so theres more of a gold sink between the hits.

Finally, you could buy reserve stam for a high gold price, for around 10-15 reserve stam for 150k gold.

This isn't a pure gold sink, but with the increased importance of relics, perhaps there should be a structure to enable a guild to know the combined stats of its defenders on its relics.

How about adding an Enhancement of your choice to gear? Say +1 for every (100 x Level) gold. But you can't add more than +10 to any individual item.

1.)Not a big gold sink, but i think a Blacksmith under guild would be good, work just as it does for your own backpack but for the guild store, repairing all guild items.

2.) Maybe a structure or another lock that makes you able to block a guild locked crystaline item from being used in combat other than in PvP Arena.

You could kill two birds with one stone: create a level 400 Deflect potion sold from the Auction House. Any gold these are sold for would then be removed from the economy. This would deflect all incoming attacks, but would not be permanent. People that don't want to be part of PvP could have at least a 5-hour "opt out"; that's the second bird.

You know PvP is a gold sink?
Why offer and opt-out?
NO.

NO.

1) PvP is only a gold sink for those who participate in it. Offering a level 400 Deflect potion would add a gold sink for those who don't want to do PvP.
2) The "opt out" as it were would only ever be temporary anyway (5 hours at a time). The potion would probably end up selling for 2 or 3 FSP, making it quite expensive for those who want to try and permanently "opt out" of PvP.

And the way you say "NO" makes it sound like this would hurt you personally. How?
