I have not read the whole thread, but have a few ideas.
1.)More portals
a.) XP hunter. A .1% per point increase in xp per kill BUT a .1% decrease in gold per kill
These both sound like good ideas.

Retraction...eliminating TH and merc would not really help.... But I still like my idea for the new buffs....
the buff is not your idea lol it's been said several times before.

how about buying a pet as a companion? it can have stats which can help the player. money can be spent to acquire the pet and to upgrade it. it fights alongside the adventurer.
THIS IS JUST TO COOL OF A IDEAL TO BE OVERLOOKED!!!!!

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO BUY STAMINA WITH GOLD THAT WOULD BE AWESOME
HCS can't do that, they tried in gothador and it screwed up the game.
I still don't understand HOW it screwed up the game. And maybe 100,000 gold for +25 instant stamina isn't the right number. How about 150,000 gold?
If you are worried players will go overboard, put a cap on how often you can use the ability in a 24 hour cycle. Can't buy more than 1000 stamina.
That's not going to break the game.
The whole concept of buying stamina seems wrong to me anyway. People that level without killing creatures is so anti-what the whole point of a MMORPG is about.
I would make it gold and cap it to a limit per day. So what if a few players get 1000 extra stamina a day paying 6,000,000 gold. That's a managable gold sink.

How about letting guilds raise their taxes even further? That way people would have a lot less gold to throw around and after a couple of hunts they wouldn't even miss it, the guilds would then easily be able to afford the upkeep on some of the better structures. I've seen plenty of lower lvl guilds with endurance shrine lvl 2 because they can't afford lvl 3... such a shame. Oh well, there's my two cents

1000 stam? that's laughable. I know someone planning to level through around 80 levels of content. I myself purchased 3400 stamina today, just cuz I was bored. And 150k is too high for 25 stamina, it will drive up the costs of buffs then which will in turn likely raise the FSP price, Stamina for gold is not the answer. There are a select few upgrades which could benefit from being purchasable with gold as i mentioned in my original suggestion on the first page of this thread.

I had this crazy idea for the FSP Offers.
They all give FSP when they work. That is great. I have had decent success with the offers. But I digress. I think a good gold sink would be to offer more FSP...but in return the player has to purchase them for gold somewhere in the game. That temple in Misty Mountains seems like a good area for this.
Anyway, this is how it would work. Currently you just click the offer and do it. This would not change. What would change is when the offer goes thru, you would get the confirmation in your Log, and instead of just getting the FSP you would have a choice between getting FSP right there, or getting more FSP at a cost. For example...
Congratulations on completing (insert reward here) you can have either 5 FSP for free, or you can have 10 for 25k gold each.
There would be a new page in the "Actions" area in the game. Something like "FSP Bank". All the offers you haven't decided on how you wanted to get the FSP would be there for you to choose. And there would be a counter telling you how many FSP you can purchase from the FSP store for the 25k.

definitely that's one interesting idea.

However we are listening to the other ideas.
Remember the aim of this is to increase the overall value of gold (which will in theory reduce the marketplace value of FSPs for gold).
The main way to do this is to create worthwhile ways for people with lots of gold to consume it (sink it).
I'm thinking along the lines of more (powerful) craftable items, that use lots of gold to craft - think potions and items.
Keep the ideas coming however

No Fallen Sword Points for gold other than via the marketplace sorry.

you mean you didn't like any of my non-potion/non-crafting related ideas, some of which were genius? They're all on the first page, hint hint.

dunno if this has been proposed....
but why not set up a market where players can sell items to the shopkeeper instead of waiting on an auction. Let each turn cost 25 or so stamina to sell one item and let the items be bought back for cheap. It'll be a nice way to build up gold instead of having to destroy all the items the monsters drop. And let us be able to buy extra stamina with gold....say something like 1 stamina for 100 gold. So for 100 extra stamina....we pay 10,000 gold. And we can't buy more than half our normal stamina levels per day.
not going to happen, sorry kid.

Gold cost for placing an auction in the auction house. Eg. 5% of the min bid for gold. 5000gold for each FSP for FSP auctions.
No. It's a huge hit on Super Elite Hunters.
