Deflect attack notice

It would be nice to know if someone tries to attack, also when I am doing multiple bounties, it would be nice to have a record that I tried to attack someone even if the attack does not succeed.

or maybe
"U PHALE @ PVP LUZOR!"
how about

im pretty sure you do. i think i rememer getting the message when i attac players ith deflect

You get the information message, but not a log message.

It would be nice to know when somebody tries to attack.
Not bounty-able of course, but perhaps to extend deflect or get some other defensive buffs or gear.

I think if they attack you, even if it's deflected, you can bounty them. I had some one a couple months ago attack me and got deflected.

And why don't you lose stamina? It's an attempted attack... It would positively change the dynamics of delevelings... IE cost more stamina(something HCS loves btw) to delevel when deflect is active on a player being deleveled...

I think if deflect used stamina it would cut way down on pvp. (and that's a bad thing) I know i would pass up some bounties if that was the case. It would be too overpowered for a skill of 150 lvl ... though I would love to see that since I have and use Deflect a lot

.I'd like a log notice when my attacks are deflected just to help me keep track of where i am on that particular bounty. And to show off the next time i get deflected 9 times in a row. LOL

Not if you're the attacker.
bolth of you are right, you do get a message, just not a log message, when your on the attack screen after you attack them, it says something like "player deflected attack"

I think that if an attack is deflected, I would agree to make 10 stamina to be spent by the attacker (not the whole amount as this would potentially make de-levelling very stamina intensive.) In exchange, perhaps the casting cost could be raised to 50 since the duration is so long.
At the same time you make this change, disallow bounties for attacks (20 stamina or less) that are conducted as part of a bounty.

However the main thing is that both the attacker and the attackee should get a log message. IRL, if you deflect someone's attack, you know they at least tried to attack you and you can do something about it.

And for those of you responding without having a clue, deflected hits DO NOT SHOW in the log of the attacker...only in the small grey tab of the Attak screen..
