Hiya fellas. Brand-spanking new at this game, and I thought Id ask you knowledgeable dudes how I'm doing so far. I'm surprised, this game is pretty fun without being consuming. I've played more than my share of MMO's, and have found the Fallen Sword Guide and invaluable tool.

After floundering at the start and making some bonehead moves with skill points, I think I'm headed in the right direction, but I welcome a critique on gear and such. I'm pumping damage for a while with points, think I may have made a mistake pumping attack early. I like being able to kill things quickly to maximize that stamina, and avoid creatures with high defense. Hope that's the right procedure, and from the minimal reading I've done it seems the suggested route.

I love my elite hunter status, and was wondering what the next set I should be on the lookout for, and where I run into it.

I've discovered the auction house, and am a bit shocked and pleased to find that many things have an amazingly inflated price, like the striking rune, amethyst ring, and many other things easily availabe via quest or vendor.

Is this because people are in a hurry leveling and have more money than they know what to do with? Whatever the reason, I've been happy to sell my trash at a surprisingly inflated rate, and hope that trend continues.

Merry Christmas, and thanks in advance for your advice, critiques, and assistance.

Cheers.

Level up points --> Damage (You can get more than enough Attack from gear.)
Elite Hunter --> There's a thread around here with all the sets and their levels.
Auction House --> Sell for whatever everyone is paying for it.

Read some of the sticked threads in the Newbie Help section, and do a forum search for anything you have questions on. Chances are, someone else already had the question and it's been answered more than once. ;)

Good luck!

I found where the infernal set drops and farmed it for a night. I filled out a few surveys or whatever for free FSP and bought +max auctions. I made like 40k in one night at level 9 which I think is pretty good. Anyways I leveled up my sword with the money and extra FSP and bought the best gear I could and now my guy is pretty strong. I also joined a guild with stamina shrine and attack shrine so that helped a lot.

What surveys for free FSP?!

Most of them dont really work in my experience. I got drunk last night and spent an hour doing as many as I could. I think only 2 actually gave me FSP but it was enough for what I needed them for.

Thanks for the help fellas. I saw the surveys for fsp stuff, and maybe I'Il do it later. I'm happy with what I have gear-wise, and would rather lvl than spend a night farming for the infernus gloves. The rest of my stuff feels pretty decent.

I suppose I'll join a guild eventually, but for now, most everything dies in 1-3 kills, which is good enough for now.

Again, thanks for the input.
