Other players also can do what they want and disturb your gameplay (within the rules) till you quit the game.. Would talking be so pointless then? If buying 1 kill bounties is offensive to a group of players you should expect consequences.. at least, the existence of this group makes you think before you start to do what you want, you probably consider if this really is worth your gameplay or probably gameplay of your friends too...

If a mechanism exists whereby players are legitimately 'forcing' people to leave, and there is no in game response which can put them off, then it might be worth talking.

A few people not liking the fact their 'medals' are worth less is not forcing them to quit the game, so in any case it is a moot point in this context.

I concede that other forms of harassment exist and need to be dealt with; however I hope HCS has more important things planned than pandering to the whims of a select group of people.

I vote both are ok to sell. Why? Because I can. :D

blah

To summarise - people do what they want within the rules, or outside them until they are caught....hence talking is pointless.

You prolly don't want to push this line of reasoning very much further  , or have you not been paying attention to the changes that have happened the last few months. All this talk about disturbing other people's gameplay "within the rules" is still harassment, lol. What you are doing is making a very "low key" threat in a roundabout way. PvP is already broken in this game, let's not make it look any worse by talking about making players quit, whether it's in the rules or not.

Every player is either a donor or potential donor to the game. We need to try and keep them all.

In other words, you activate those potentialities depending on what kind of person you are in real life and then you are evaluated by a combination of the individual values, the players communities values, and the cultural, or in real life values....

However, a person and characters values may differ because the person may decide to role play the character and give the character different values then the person. However most persons choose not to do this.

It's harassment if you openly request something... If I 100stam TEW members on BB without saying that it's for deleveling a person who refused to pay FSPs for 10 stamina attacks on their member then it's just pvp... however if I request an apology in order to stop these attacks it's harassment...

You are splitting hairs. It's still harassment. And you know it is, it's just "within the rules". Are you a lawyer by chance? That's what all this hair-splitting and dissection of the rules reminds me of  .

If many more thought like avvakum does, the game community would provide a much better gameplay experience.

The general problem of any MMORG is that many see it as an extension of their life. Anyone that is unemployed, cant afford things he wants, or gets beaten by his wife can turn some $$ into FSP and get a lot of attention in here by gaining levels, having cool-looking items etc..

And it works the same way with medals. You may be worthless in PvP, too slow thinking and moving to figure out how to look for and kill a SE, you may be too lazy to run around and complete quests..But wow!! The company gives you the chance, through the game rules, to have a great good looking medal in your profile in each of these sectors!! Not very well-thought out, but... paying customers are always right, right?

So all of you that buy bounties and medals in extend, you can keep doing that despite complaints. The comforing thing is that YOU KNOW they are fake, we know what kind of people you are and we can keep having our gaming fun, while you can keep buying what you consider gaming fun.

What a nice realistic portion of society we are all :)

1. I know for a fact that KM earned his medal, just like I did...

2. How did this thread make it out of off topic where it was begun and where it started?

Where's a game mod?

Just one old lady's opinion

i dont think those things 'should' be sold but you should be able to. its all personal preference. you know you did everything yourself the hard way or the easy way. thats all that really matters.

i got 25+ bounties that i can put up for 1 kill....who wants them ;P

If you are interested in getting one for yourself, its about 100,000 stamina 3 or 4 months, a good internet connection and thats about it :)

It is a massive amount of effort, but you should know, working so hard to be successful in the PvP Arena.

I am sure if someone bought his way to winning tournaments (Lets say paying people to take part in them naked) it would bother you equally.
