Lots of Equipment I run into are not good for Hellforging. HP stats are nice if your not hell forging but if you are they are just in the way. For Defense setups armor is a waste as is and vis versa for Armor. For 100k + 1k * Items Level you should be able to remove a stat from non legendary items.

Add a Link to Players Profile to the AH. Thiers already a trade button ect why not add one to the AH page for the person

wow! nice --!

I like this!

Yes, I have been thinking of something along these lines myself.. hadn't taken it to the idea of actual removal.

But, I had been telling myself 'man, this item would rock if it did not have two different stats. or three different stats'

Your costs would have to change drastically, but that would be cool!.

i think it would make items way overpowered

and would wreck every single arena setup 0.o

i dont think it would be that good for the game, but who knows *shrugs*

Unfortunately... I absolutely agree.

But, it would be a total blast =P.. and it would wreak havoc for about a month until HCS took it all away... /grin

200 damage items at level 30 0.o

i admit, it would be fun :P

you do do a set up that looks something like
attack 1
defense 1
armor 1
hp 10
damage 22,364

Would it make it that extreme? It would just be removing a stat and thus increasing the thellforge bonus If it had 2 stats and you took 1 off the stat would increase by 25 as it'd get all 50 hellforge points

I was thinking the same...I thought you were only removing
stats...guess it is good at lower lvl items maybe, but I think
it get more and more useless when items get higher...those
25 points aren't going to make a real difference at lvls above
200 I think...

Yeah, I took the suggestion as saying lets remove the excess stats, not allow you to pour all points into the 1 stat. I think if you could remove the +20 defense from suicide gear, and then forge it, this would be a great idea. Because you had less stats to spread among your forge, you'd get a better bonus to them.

If I understand this right, nice concept mate!

+1 from me.

This concept will, however, change a lot of things. We'll have to write off the item template on the wiki cuz Perfect items.

I'd be totally cool with this if it happened to non-craftable items only.
