Variable Buff Level

The main reason for this suggestion is counter attack. It's more often than not really annoying trying to hunt down a player with the version you want. Quest finder and find item are other buffs that would benefit from this, although to a lesser extent.

when push comes to shove, the ability only affects CA. i'm not sure why players are penalized to find buffers with the level they need when they need it... just have a sliding scale where any player with CA can buff up to the max they have invested into the skill. or conversely, have the buyer be able to set the limit of CA they would like and any buff at or above that level would be the level buffed (ie, as a buff buyer, i need CA 50. i set a max buff level in my profile and find any buffer who has CA 50 and over. i pay for the buff but regardless of level cast, the max i will get is 50 as designated in my prefs).

i think CA's value would decrease if this were implemented, we would have over 1k players i would imagine that can buff any level CA.
As I pointed out to you in the other thread, it wouldn't decrease anymore than any of the other buffs that players can cast. People don't prorate their CA because it is a certain level, they base it on stamina cost like everything else they sell, so your argument holds no water.
I am still a fan of this idea, but as you can see my thread has 5 pages and no one seems to care enough to chime in on it so who knows what's going to happen.

players...this game is also based on a lil teamplay, so it is
nice if you need other player's help now and than...
and like I said before, if you want multiple levels of CA,
destroy your Fury Shrine so you can have a difference
of 25 points, what means you got 2 CA lvls covered in
the D750 range

I am still against it...I think you should just buy it from other
players...this game is also based on a lil teamplay, so it is

It would be nice to go to one player for all levels though. Doesn't mean you'll have all the buffs in the game, but it would be nice to be able to talk to the same person, instead of finding 5 or 6 different people with it.

the main reason for this suggestion is the buff CA, on all the
others this has no use, because you will always buff the max lvl...
For D750 you use CA25 or 50 or 75, to use effective...
For D500 you use 36 and 72
For D450 you use 40 or 80
So you need a max of 2 players to get the right CA lvls for each
lvl. If you don't mind hunting in a less effective way, you can better
just find a player with CA175

Let's see... this argument made by a player with the following guild members:
Member -- Level
Stu1981 -- 639
Goofy1980 -- 568
Thaloom -- 516
gyko -- 513
Killa06 -- 635
Mistle -- 650
Shaydog -- 600
bbqbbq -- 462
DavidJames -- 439
BigBadBoB -- 477
fatzolo -- 409
You'd have to be a moron to not be able to coordinate all levels of CA in that guild. It's easy to say demolish the fury shrine when you're in that situation because it's not a problem to share items that give fury caster or even have them for each individual player. It's much less reasonable to ask that of guilds with much lower level players and/or ones with few bp spots. For those guilds, it's stupid to make them try to find the handful of players with a rare level of CA in the game and hope that they are online. I would also think that HCS would want to keep one of the most effective guild structure gold sinks in play as much as possible. If they force us to demolish them just to be able to have more flexibility with CA, then that's just shooting themselves in the foot.

became totally useless for higher lvl persons (I think from
lvl 200 for people with more than 3 BP slots).
You want a solution for your problem having just 1 CA, well,
I gave it to you...a very easy one.
I don't have problems finding the right CA lvl indeed, that is
because I am in a good guild that can offer me that. TEW
and many others got those benefits too. Just because they,
and we can have all CA lvls at all times, doesn't make it
a good reason to chance it for whole FS, so they can have
it too. Being in a guild has advantages, and I like to keep
those
(yeah, I am a selfish bastard lol)

Deceiver isn't suggesting that sellers prorate based on the level, but rather adjust their prices according to the availability of specific levels of the spell (e.g. CA 25 can justifiably demand a little more because it is relatively rare)
yes, supply vs demand.
lvl 25 CA can go for 2 FSP easily compared to lvl 50 CA which only goes for around 1 FSP.

It doesn't seem fair that solo guilds and other small guilds like mine can have an advantage buffing players variable levels of CA.
Plus its very annoying having to hunt around for different CA levels. I'd be surprised if this was the dev's intention with this skill.
Please bring in some way we can set the level of CA we want to buff Hoof and co
And can someone put up a poll on this if there isn't one already.
This seems like one of the best suggestions around at the moment.

You mean like reduced structure upkeep, cheaper mercs, etc.?
I know it doesn't seem like much of a bother to you but for players in guilds with less than 4+ level 400 players, this can be extremely annoying, especially when the guild has a fury shrine and each player is locked into one level of the skill. I wouldn't mind paying a little extra to anyone having the rarer versions but the fact is that they're often hard to find online. If you want to use several levels, it can often lead to MUCH more time spent during your hunt.
I'm all for players and guilds having benefits that they've earned but to inconvenience a broad range of players for such a minor advantage to guilds such as yours seems a bit petty. Honestly, doesn't it seem that since I have dedicated the time to reach level 400 and use my skill points to get CA that I should be able to use it instead of spending 20+ minutes searching for someone with the appropriate level?

mercs prices are relative, so per person we pay the same...
we have reduced structure costs, but relatively we are paying more
so that are no advantages of being in a smaller guild...
We could also built the Fury Shrine like anyone else, but every player
can max it from lvl 200 or maybe even lower. So why built that structure
if 3 BP spaces is enough? and even better, the items which got Fury
Caster are hunting gear, so you need them anyway...so you don't
need extra BP slots to max Fury Caster.
So if people decide to help the lower lvl people's out by adding
a fury shrine, it is their own decision...I don't think it is necassary
anymore after HCS threw so many sets in the game with this
enhancement.
Like I stated before, you need only 2 or 3 lvls of CA to hunt effective,
means you don't need to find so many buffers. If you buy from Phool
you need even less buyers...
I just think it is nice we can say as a small guild we have a serious
advantage over other guilds
