Okay, I think we've had enough of that. Dikke, your opinion and selfishness are noted. I do appreciate the efficiency lesson though. Maybe we can let others weigh in on the matter?

To HCS, if things remain as they are, our guild will most likely demolish the fury shrine. I wouldn't mind keeping it since our guild isn't comprised solely of level 400+ players and it makes playing the game easier for the lower levels. Sure we have tons of equipment that give the fury caster enhancement and, individually, it's not really a problem for one person to equip the necessary items and cast buffs.

However, it's more of a pain when you consider that some of these people might not have enough bp space to hold the fury caster gear and their hunting gear. So they would have to shuffle stuff in and out of the GS each time they want to buff themselves before or during hunting.

Or maybe a couple of guildmates are selling buffs and need the enhancement at the same time.

It will add an annoyance factor to many of our players and we may lose some because of it... and all because of one buff. But frankly that's just how annoying it is. :(

Well, I tried. :D

EDIT: I was serious about that though. It seems a shame to inconvenience all our guild members for this but we'll have to wait and see what HCS thinks.

if you are afraid of losing members, keep it, and keep searching for
the missing CA lvl you can't have yourself
I still see it as an overreaction on the CA buff, such a small buff won't
cause that much problems...else I dunno what guild you are in

EDIT: To say it all in other words...

FACT: There was a time 1 hitting was not as easy as now, and you had to
think about setups how NOT to die
FACT: people didn't like THINKING and asked for more damage
FACT: HCS introduced EW1500, DD, CA to keep people happy
FACT: people found out that CA lvl effects hunting efficiency
in 1 hit killing
FACT: people start complaining again they have to do
something as in SEARCHING and INTERACTING to hunt in the most
efficient way

Does it really need to be all that simple, I thought the idea was to
have a challenge to hunt in the most efficient way...seems it is better
to just start complaining it is not easy enough yet...

hmm.. actually I like what was noted -- I have a set of gear (actually quite a few) that are guild tagged that can EASILY be shared amongst all guild members that have fury caster attached.. I think I will soon be destroying our fury shrine in order to keep costs down! woot!

Actually that supports my argument as well. HCS is going to lose some gold sinks if we all start destroying the fury shrines. They have the second highest upkeep of any structure behind the endurance shrine. The only point now is whether or not it's worth the convenience of having one. For those guilds that only have 1-2 level 400 players, it's probably not going to continue to be worth it. 8)

I don't know why there should change so much after this discussion...
Since last LE (or even the one before) Fury Shrine was already not
worth to have it...still a lot guilds have it...why would that change?

But I agree adding Fury Caster to items is not the smartest move
ever from HCS

It's a change over time. Not everyone in the game understands yet that the fury shrine is basically redundant. It really is completely unnecessary except to provide convenience for buff-casting. That might still be worth it to a lot of guilds but the CA issue is another factor to push them towards destroying it.

Personally, it won't affect me at all. I have a ton of bp spaces and I can buy all the equipment myself (already have, actually), save it to several combat sets for easy use and be relatively happy with my 50 level range of CA. However, I'm thinking of people in my guild and in others who might only have a handful of bp spots. It would add a little more inconvenience each time they hunt in order to buff themselves. Whether or not those players actually buff themselves is another matter but you get the point.
