I think that selling buffs should be outlawed (and punishable by suspension and eventually termination), as it's a tool of scamming players of their hard-earned fsp.

There's also another great solution to this problem: you should only be able to buff yourself (ok, I guess that's going to be unpopular, so maybe you could buff your guild mates too).

I think it's an important issue to be fixed. What do you say?

I say no to this idea...I am hardly selling anything, but IMO
those higher lvls earned their way up, so they may have
something in return...if you think they make too much profit
don't buy those buffs

Suggestions forum is meant for suggestions, so I posted one. What's your point? If you don't agree with the idea, just vote no... I'm sure I'll get many people to vote yes, as it'd be a good thing for the game.

I only do what I have to do... I don't scam anyone, but I've estimated that 70-80% of buff sellers do. Just trying to solve a major problem here.

lots of people give buffs and don't get paid or even worse get paid and don't give the buffs. maybe it is time we had some sort of solution to this issue.

You think that 70-80% of buff sellers scam? If they scam, then they get nno more custom, therefore they arent sellers as they have no market to sell to.

There are so many players... Most don't remember who scammed them or don't care, at least the first few times. In my experience, those who repeatedly advertise in Shout Box and FS Box a lot scam the most. It's a gray area I guess...

Your quote - 'or dont care' I think they do care, and I think the FS community do care and wouldnt use scammers to buy buffs off, its self policing, like certain SE hunters who were not used after they were found to be scamming. If you have specific proof of being scammed, or scamming people then send SS etc to HCS.

some people got in their profile: "if you send me FSP or gold when I am
offline I see it as a donation"...

Well if you don't read their profile it's your fault. Like people that ask for doubler from someone who doesn't have it.

Yeah, they advertise, you send the payment, and then they say "oh, sorry, was offline, thanks for the donation".

One of many classic scams.

Isn't it easier not to buy buffs?

I've bought a lot of buffs from a wide variety of players.
Now if, as you contend, 70-80% are scammers, surely I'd have come across one by now.
I think you over-exaggerate somewhat...or have a very different idea of what a scam is.
