making future legendary items unrepairable(like crystalline) would help solve the problem of the overabundance of items. remember, they arent worthless they just sell for cheap. they are still good items.
the past LE items are so cheap because the majority of the farmers used 4leaf1000. yet they have risen in price over the time they have been out depending on which set.

Why not just make it only appear in the AH a few times per day, massive bidding wars over each one would sink gold and because of less FI1K's less SE/LE items overall?
I like this idea, lol. I am realistic enough to know that it will never be removed from the game, despite some of our feelings. But less of them around would definitely help the problems. I'd love to see them selling for over 1 million gold each. More FSP being sold to lower level players & hopefully dropping prices a little bit.

not quite, most would just resort to paying 1fsp to someone who scavenged a FI800 potionWhy not just make it only appear in the AH a few times per day, massive bidding wars over each one would sink gold and because of less FI1K's less SE/LE items overall?

why not? not to mention Malphas is one of the already tweaked drop rates because of FI1000. :shock:FI800 is good but if you find a malphas, you really wanna be running a FI800?

yeah whatever, I dont shoot down ideas that are good, Its just that IMHO I dont think this is a good idea, I dont even like the fact we have FI1000 or FI800.Really can't be bothered with people looking to shoot down every idea today.. Whatever.
FI250 would have been enough, however HCS tends to go overkill with the potions when they were first introduced.

They have removed potions before, dont see why they cant now. They're here now, can't really do much about it except limit their availability.

uproar or not, sometimes its better to do what is good for the game rather than what players want. And yeah DC400, its very overpowering, kinda the same way FI1000 is.DC400 right? untill it appeared in scavenging i'd never even heard of it, FI1K is far too popular to just abolish now, would cause an uproar.

going a bit overboard and getting dramatic is not the answer. There are a few overpowering potions that should be removed, however they were not in the original discussion, so I didnt comment on them, I commented on the one potion that was brought up.DC225 is insanely overpowering. Why dont we just get rid of all the items, potions and buffs and slap the monsters around with a wet fish? *sigh*
