I have an idear here, i dont want to change anything just see if it would be possible to add some things:

PVP challenges:

The idea here is fun and friendly based PVP (no exp/gold lost, but pvp still counts). The idea works where one player challenges another player to fight X amount of times. X is the amount of times each player is allowed to attack the other. Challenges have 1 hour to be accepted. Challenges are done when BOTH players complete the amount of attacks required, except if the challenge goes for more than 48 hours, at the 48 hour mark the player with the most wins will get the victory, if there are no wins or a tie then neither get a victory. The player with the most wins is the victor.

If an attack is deflected it does not count as a win or loss for either and the amount of attacks is unchanged. If a battle ends in a draw it will count as an attack for the attacker thus lowering the total amount of attacks they have left. The attacks will be bounty style (every 2 min). BUFFS DO COUNT, this little part here is 60% of PVP, 60% the arena leaves out. Neither side may bounty the other.

As far as what you actually get, besides PVP rating and a victory, im not sure how it would work, to have a medal for this seems ludicrous considering it could be easily be bought. Having "Challenge Victories: X" in players bio is obvious, but i dont know how to have a real reward... Would both players putting up gold/FSP/item(s) be considered gambling?

The goal behind a feature like this would be to get more people into PVP, it addresses the issue of gold/exp loss, and hopefully with the way its set up would allow fast paced, real time interaction between players.

There are some questions I have that i just cant wrap my head around, maybe some folks could help:

What would the level limits be? +/- 5 seems too small, seeing as it is mutual combat i think that it would be ok to raise this number, but to what? I thought about no limit, but level 400 vs a level 65? No.

How to work a out a proper medal?

Weather or not to make item damage count... would be cool to see people use those fancy crystalline itmes.

What would this do to regular PVP? I would think it would make it "bad" PVP seeing as it would almost make it completely "harmful" (gold loss exp, delevel...) It would make no sense to get rid of it, but it would definitely add more negativity towards it, but i dont think it would negatively impact it.

Should there be a min/max limit to the fights? If so, how many?

Another quick PVP idea.

HUGE TOURNAMENTS:

It would be awesome to run monthly multi-leveled bracket tournaments, where it takes a snapshot of players stats and buffs. Im talkin hundreds of players in each tournament, tournament are broken down player VL: have tournaments broken up every 50 levels has its own tournament(1-50.51-100.101-150 ect ect). The top 3 getting "belts"(gold, silver bronze) that they hold in their medals section until the next tourny, there could even be a medal for how many times you won the gold, silver and bronze belts, each belt having its own set of medals...

i would say yes, but at a reduced rate, say make 1 stam hits possible.
