I read some bios ....
How does this work:
does the game calculate XP versus critter based on your current level or your virtual level?
If I delevel myself , does the XP next hunt become much more? ( suppose I must make sure to be in the right realm
delevel yourself to gain more guild XP?

when you are deleveled, your contributed guild xp is not affected. so if you delevel yourself and then regain those levels (lower stamina, potentially fewer buffs, not wasting stam to complete quests) then you can gain contributed guild xp at a rapid rate.
at least this is part of my understanding of massive intentional loss of levels for the purpose of increasing guild xp.

But don't you contribute more exp at higher levels from killing higher level monsters? De-leveling to contribute more to guild exp seems illogical to me, I think you would contribute to guild exp more by staying at as high a level as possible. Unless you have reached the end of the available content I suppose, but that would only apply to a handful of players.

maths are not my thing... so have no numbers to back the concept.... but if you have already contributed the xp to the guild and then take the delevel tactic, the stam needed to complete the level is less (as is the contributed xp, as you said) but without the need of completing quests, using 1000-2000-2500 stam per level and knowledge of what gear to wear and what buffs are needed may work towards the guild xp.

buffs and gear are the same .
Scenario:
travel to realm 315. Stay there. Delevel myself to 300.
If I go 10 levels down , will XP per critter be affected as there is now 15 levels between player and critter? That is my question.

can I please have an answer: is XP versus critter ( and penaltys for subleveling etc) based on virtual or current level?

I believe it is determined by current level, based on how well I've been doing after TWP lopped 15 levels off me
. However, in your example, why get to 315 for the higher level creatures, then drop yourself 15 levels and spend stamina that could get you up to 320+ on regaining?
