How was your Leaf Dragon Scavenging Experience

Just curious about eveyone elses experience (see below) & everyones luck (poll is about the luck) with this weekends scavenging of the Leaf Dragon or Green Spine.
My Experience:
I spend roughly 50m gold this weekend. All from my bank so didnt have to sell fsp luckily.
I spent 20m gold (around 180fsp I think) on Saturday & Used Find Item level 1000:
0-5m = 3 drops
5-10m = 4 drops (1 staff)
10-15m = 1 drop
15-20m = 1 drop (1 staff)
Total of 9 drops. Sold the staffs for 135fsp each.
I spent 30m today (around 270fsp I think) using FI 800 this time.
0-5m = 3 drops
5-10m = 2 drops
10-15m = 6 drops
15-20m = 0 drops
20-25m = 2 drops
25-30m = 2 drops
Total = 15 drops No staffs.
Result = overall loss of around 180fsp.
I dont know what the drop rate was on it but for me it was extremely low. For 50m I expected to get over 50 items to be honest. If it had been a normal LE Event and I killed it the same amount of times as I did in scavenging I would have had a few sets.
Overall the loss wasnt huge and the experience was fairly much a mixture of fun and fustration! Not sure if I will ever repeat it though.

My staff is still worth more than the 8 million I spent, so overall it went ok for me.
Also, with those 8 million gold, I got 83 leaf dragon kills.

overall, net gain of 100fsp or so. (I did use 2 days worth of hunt as well) which paid for my octo set.

According to HCS statements and Player assertions -- in some of the other posts..
There is approximately a 1% drop-rate from that Leaf Dragon.
Knowing this -- let's figure out how much money you should in theory be spending in order to get a Reborn Leaf Staff.
If you have to spend 15,000 gold to get the Leaf Dragon to appear,
and it appears say.. one in every three times you attempt (I got a FAR worse ratio, but, let's be generous)..
then it would cost 45,000 gold per appearance.
Assuming you were prepared and you can kill it every single time.
This would mean 1 in 100 kills would net you one drop.
100 kills x 45,000 gold = 4,500,000 gold per drop.
At a rate of 125,000 gold per Fallen Sword Point (FSP)..
This means 36 FSP per drop. wow, that's a lot.
Also, there are NINE possible drops from this Dragon.
which means 324 FSP per STAFF.
So, if you spent LESS than 324 FSP to get a staff... you qualify as 'lucky'.. if you spent MORE.. well, sucks to be you.
Now, assuming that initial 1% was WITHOUT find item 1,000... cut all those values in half.
So, 18 FSP to get a drop, 162FSP to get a staff. - There, you have the 'NEW Value' of the Reborn Leaf Staff.

In other words, for this enterprise to be profitable, you have to be spending at hades' level, or just plain old lucky. I wasn't lucky
I'll be skipping the 9 set piece LE's in the future (ie reborn guardian, reborn dragon). I suspect the profitable LE's will be mancrusha, cerberus, and Tattie Boggle (if he makes an appearance).

Spent 1.6 million gold, got 3 greater doubler pots, an imp pot, and 1 reborn leaf ring. In other words, I lost about 11 FSP of the 13 I spent.
In other words, for this enterprise to be profitable, you have to be spending at hades' level, or just plain old lucky. I wasn't lucky. Not possible for the vast majority of the population.

tattie should be here as grim stated the only le not to appear will be the santork/reindeer guys that means all others will

I think in order for the event to be profitable, you must spend a decent amount of capital to get moving. I do think that anyone can profit from the event, though, due to the fact that the market is flooded with cheap pots now. I gave away DOZENS of potions to guildmates. They were happy.
