yep i understand that XP loss is doubled compared to a normal PvP hit. and that this does not change just because the person is lower or higher than you.

What it doesn't clarify is if the amount of XP taken will vary depending on level.

During the last war everyone in our guild was hitting the same person and the difference in xp taken was huge.

I'm not trying to be argumentative. I'm just looking for am accurate answer

the difference can be huge, but it doesn't depend on level difference... I did 9 x 100 stamina hits on the same player and XP taken randomly varied from 1,300,000 to 2,500,000

Ok i'm just waiting to see if anyone in my guild can verify the amounts of XP taken from the player.

Cause the figures you just quoted fall in the range of an earlier post where a difference of up to 100% will occur.

I'll check to see if the difference was more than that. Cause i think we had a level 400, 200, and 124 (me) hitting her

I understand what it says. it says XP Loss is doubled compared to a normal PvP attack outside the bounty board.

-->

My experience backs up the statement that level difference has no (or very little) effect on XP loss. In one series of deleveling bounties on people level 200-250, I and a level 560 were sharing our hits. The level 560 was consistently (19 out 20) taking more XP per hit. XXXXX should be wanting me to take his bounties.

But, who is tochtli? I know he's a good PvP player but i'm fairly certain he didn't have a hand in writing the code that governs XP loss.

When i have more info i'll let you know. cause i'm still getting different stories here.

at least we know that a 75 lvl took less XP from 200-250 lvl players than a level 560... both used 100 stamina, but "the level 560 was consistently (19 out 20) taking more XP per hit." So, it says that actually higher level players take more XP from a target on the BB ...

Thanks for everybody's input on this. It was really quite helpful. Like i said when i get a definitive answer from HCS (if they don't tell me to sod off), i'll let you all know.

Even though i feel that the players that answered here are knowledgeable enough to trust anyways
