I do appreciate your input, Ninjadier. But please, respectfully, remember you are level 80, not 300 =) In order to form deleveling parties at this level you need some serious FSP if you want to do a decent job. .

This statement is completely false, HIt anyone that is in your level range that is allied with my guild, We can cause you to lose 5 levels in a delevel party and all it will cost me is a "few thank you notes".

Not necessarily true. If a player changes gear to counter an attack the player may be vulnerable for a moment or two.

I deleveled a player 400 levels higher than me in this exact manner :-)

The ONLY way that is possible friend, because they are outside of your VL, is on the bounty board. And that is not my issue :?

I understand what your original point was :-) I was responding to the post you made about a level 80 player not being to help you.

You have the bounty board to deal with attacks. And that in my opinion levels the playing field more than enough :-)

I didn't vote on your poll cause i don't agree with either choice.

how about they create a new buff/potion that lasts for 24 hours and only if you dont move. and during the duration no one can attack you. or i think cooler, you can still get attacked and lose xp but they lose twice the amount they hit you with

Again, this is mainly pointed at those typically really young kids who don't know when things are no longer funny. Those people who attack you for no reason, but do it non-stop for days, or even weeks at a time.

ME? But im not that young.

I guess I live inside a box being a higher member of management in your guild Brutae and didn't really know this was happening to you and do agree with some of the reply's that we could have some guild allies help us with your situation. But I do also like the ideas that you have for the gear set up...the only draw back is that everyone would wear them and it would no longer be a pvp game to the fullest effect. I also like the idea for the temple hiding spot per say but I think you would have the same issue. I think people would just retire in there. I think if you have something like this going on then maybe we should suggest just a limit on how many time another player could attack you period...a limit of attacks player A could attack player B and so on...I don't know what the real solution is and I have never had this issue for myself but can definitely get the aggravation of be assaulted over and over by the same player...in my mind it is harrassment...hope this helps and GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

I have taken 2 levels+ by myself on bounties, if someone else had been 100 stamming with me it would be 5 levels lost. It depends on the level of the person on the board however since it seems higher levels are more vulnerable to exp loss on the board. So basically if you dont have 2 friends willing to 100 stam your attacker for free then you need better friends.

The thing is, that is absolutely not true. You can delevel the offender far faster than they can delevel you. Plus, most of us PvP jerks don't level much anyway outside of gaining back lost levels, so leveling out of range should be relatively quick and painless. Hell, if you can't get a decent deleveling party thrown together, PM me and i'll smack him around a bit. It does sound slightly excessive to me (at least the way you tell it.)
I do appreciate your offer friend, but I'm affraid your just not a high enough level to "smack them around a bit" =) ... It is far easier and cheaper for the attacker to bring you down, than it is for you to bring them down --- remember they ENJOY spending STA in PvP.
I agree with DOA, this is simply not true. If you're placing bounties and have enough people helping, you will take 5 levels every time. Regularly our lower level players win hitting higher level players on the BB, with a 200+ level variance.

[quote name="avvakum"There are many players that can protect themselves without spending any money, they have many friends and allies that are willing to help... Why? because they were helped before.. Of course, if players are chasing higher levels only and don't help anyone, don't support allies and don't hit for them, then one day they have to spend money on their own protection.
I think the biggest problem in many of these situations is that many players focused on leveling don't want to spend the stamina. So if you're not prepared to spend the stamina to solve the problem then there's not really anything to complain about. There is a way to fix it, using the game mechanics. If you choose not to, that's up to you.

It seems that's the only "issue" here... As for all kind of limits to attack other player, it's already limited - 1 time per hour ... also it can be complicated to figure out a way to stop the person capped from having someone else hit his target for him ...

Guilds are a major reason for the playing field not being level for so many. Those buildings and shrines make for some pretty overpowering bonuses even though players are of relatively close "level".

Hunted Cow needs to look at another way of smoothing this out. It not the LEVEL that is the issue. It's the stats. It's somewhere in the logic that a 400-plus level player could be out hunting creatures on all of FIVE HP. Five????

Please, please, please change the mathematics that somehow makes this plausible.

I hate it when my level gets brought into the equation. Hypothetically speaking, yes i could "smack him around" and no, it would not cost you "serious fsp." I don't think i'll actually need to participate unless you really need me, just leveling out of his range shouldn't be a problem. Knock him down a few levels here and there as well and your home free. And how is it easier and cheaper for him to bring me down than it is vice versa? Firstly, he can't delevel me for cheaper than free, and secondly, it is a fact that a low level loses less experience (as a percentage of total experience) than a high level player does.
