pvp change

i thought of this while reading DA's thread about, "a twist on the pvp system".




i was thinking, how about making it so the amount of stam used on an attack determines how many required kills you can have on the BB.


for example, 10 stam hit= 5 kills max when bountied.
then 11-30 stam would be 6 max kills
31-50 stam is 7 max kills,
and so on.



what do you think?

Edit (better example):

Player a hits player b with 10 stam.

player b bounties, but the most required kills he can post for is 5.



player a hits again, with 100 stam.

player b bounties, and the most required kills he can now post for is 10.

That would certainly make sense, if I'm understanding your post correctly.

I think they should cap level loss based on stam used.

100 stamina hit would be subject to 5 levels lost (max) on the bounty,
80-99 would be 4
60-79 would be 3 etc.

Yes but then in delevel parties, if you have enough hitters you could do simple low stamina hits and get away free.

No more taking 5 levels for a 10 stamina attack.

Could work and I like this idea very much even though I am not usually involve in PvP.

I get what your suggesting and I think I improved your chart that goes with the idea a bit.

10-20 stam = 1 level could be lost
21-40 stam = 2 levels could be lost
41-60 stam = 3 levels could be lost
61-80 stam = 4 levels could be lost
81-100 stam = 5 levels could be lost.

This would solve some issues that some players have with PvP as it is, Some think that if you attack them with just 10 stamina that you deserve to lose 5 levels, You can bet you will lose them as well if you hit one of these crybabys.

i like it. it would help save the innocent pvpers from losing too much

Might it motivate people to just 10 stam over and over and over? The only reason I don't do that atm is it takes too long and I get 15 -25 bounties a day when I do it. If I'd be limited in losses I'd go back to 10 stam spam in a heart beat

What if it motivates people to 10 stam over and over? Part of this idea is to revive PvP, a few extra attacks in this system would not kill either party, And yeah, If I hit anyone at my level you can bet that it will be a 100 stamina attack, Im going to get all I can before they take 5 from me. The system in this thread would open the door for me to PvP again, Im just not to fond of a 10 stam hit being able to strip me of 5 levels.

same here, I wont just stop at 1 hit unless they bounty me right away. Im taking all I can from them before I get dropped 5 levels.

i think you were talking about this one or this one ;P

im still down for this idea. any change or idea to make PvP 'more fair' is something i like to see. the fact that i cant lose up to 5 levels with one 10 stamina hit would be MOST excellent.

the current system is too harsh on low stam pvp attacks. im just trying to steal some pvp rating and if you do that now, especially to someone high on the pvp ladder, you'll lose up to five levels easily
