This is a new skill suggestion mostly for those of you who want PvP to be a bit less attack-favoring based.

Posted Image
Depower
0 / 150
+0.1% per point chance that your opponent will lose 0.15% per point in all active enchancements during the battle (PvP only, works on Incoming attacks only).
Stamina: 15
Duration: 40 min(s)

I think it would be sensible to link this off of Empower, on the basis that you must learn to create before you can destroy properly and effectively.

At skill level 100: +10% chance that your opponent will lose 15% of their active enchancements during the battle (PvP only, works on Incoming attacks only).

At skill level 150: +15% chance that your opponent will lose 22.5% of their active enchancements during the battle (PvP only, works on Incoming attacks only).

At skill level 175: +17.5% chance that your opponent will lose 26.25% of their active enchancements during the battle (PvP only, works on Incoming attacks only).

The numbers are not solid, and are flexible to change. The image is just a dummy image, and probably not one they'd use anyways.

I like it too, because Dodge is a heartbreaker.

So, is it go down by 0.15ppp of 100 or of what they have?
Like, if somebody's PS is at 75/100 (which it should never be), using level 100 depower, does it go down to 60 or 63.75?

And I was thinking full %, so if they had 50% enhancement, and you had the skill at level 100, they'd have an effective 42.5%, meaning a 15% total lose to that enhancement, but it would work on all enchancements.

So for your example, it would be 63.75%, but I'm sure the game will round the end percent result, probably up to 64%.

This keeps things from killing all of a single enhancement. :)

I like it. But then I do believe there should be a buff that you could activate on yourself, similar to deflect, that would have the chance to negate any buff like that . hmm. maybe that is deflect .. but yeah anyway...

I like

I think it is a great idea but the buff should be active longer like deflect and the amount of stam should be higher as well.

Very good idea.

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

Cyssero89: One of the main points of this buff is to restore the balance between attackers and defenders in PvP. Attackers have a load of buffs which make it ridiculously easy to defeat other people in PvP. But I am glad you like the idea.

Dumdude: Glad you like the idea. So, what do you think would be a good stamina amount/duration time?

ankurjain: I'm glad you like the idea.

DarthViper: Thanks, glad you like it.

Good idea. I actually agree with Dumdude  .. since it is only a benefit from a defending position, having increased duration would make it a more useful buff. Something like 20 stam for 120 mins to give a small amount of offline protection.

Alternatively, it could be made to have a percent chance to knock out 1 enhancement per turn but that may be too powerful.

I agree that the duration needs to be longer. Maybe, as something different, have it last 2 min per point in the skill, but it loses 1 point every two min? So if you have it lvl 175, it would last for 350 min, but after 2 min, it would be lvl 174, after another 2 min, it would be 173, etc.

yesh, its duration can depend on the points alotted to it!

Ultramus: I'm glad you like the idea, but if you want it to be 120 minutes, I think the stamina should be much higher, like 30-45 stamina.

nthnclls: Level based duration sounds kinda interesting, but I can see much whining arising from this too. And as for the decaying level with time, I dislike that personally. It removes the point of getting the buff at a high level for having longer time, because at some effective level, you'd renew it, since the time gain is linear then, you might as well as have a constant time buff with a decaying bonus.

Glad that you all like the idea though. :)

Why can you see whining from level based duration?

And I wasn't sure about the decaying level when I posted it. Didn't think about having to renew the buff, I figured people would go offline with it on. I guess it's not the right thing to do with this buff.

nthnclls:
It would be okay if the buff didn't decay. If it decays, it'd be pointless after some short amount of time. With your suggestion, after 150minutes, a level 175 version of the buff that someone may have paid some good game cash for would be equivalent to the level 100 version of the same buff.

I don't see people wanting a buff which decays that fast honestly.

I personally think a decay should not be added, and a fixed time set. The higher level buff already has the bonus of being better in terms of activation rate and effect percent.

The bit of the whining, would be from lower people who would have no use of specing the buff because, them having it would not only result in a shorter duration time then the higher level's who have the same buff, but at the same time, they would have their buff decay before the higher level's buff, making their version have no demand.

Remember, I never set a minimum level for this buff, I'm thinking adding it right below Empower would be a great idea. Meaning that the people who have access to this buff, won't all be able to get it to skill 175, and that's assuming they all have 100% fury caster as well.
