Why dont HCS lock the gold stolen by thieves so as the player can get it back for a period of time. Its not like its the gold from mobs and monsters its a completely different string, and could be lock like guild xp. Wouldn't if be ironic even funny that a thief gets attacked for gold no one but the person he stole from could get!!!
This may not be liked by the bounty hunters so how about the money locked and that money be returned to the bountier rather than them losing from thieves and then payin more to get nothin back!!! This way the bounties would be doing what they should, not only deleveling but the attacker would gain nothing aswell!!
I say this as people say how can i buy fsp's when i get attacked because i can not hold the money in my bank i need it active. Ofcourse HCS could allow money being held in your bank be used for buying fsp's aswell !!
This next bit comes from the titans and guild organisation...
Should guild locked equipment even though untag have a period of time before its could be sold!!! Then if guild locked sets are stolen should there be a guild attack, like a group but allowing the whole of the guild to take part. This would only be allowed to get back gold or sets from a player who has stolen them and without any gold or sets to get back NO guild attack group!! Some may say that the unlocked stuff will be passed to a high lvl player but could 30+ level 150s on average with the right buffs kill me?? I havent worked it out but more than likely!!! Would be nice to have a buff group slot that any one could use aswell via the guild founder at the time!! If gold or set are sent to a character that is discontinued, the set and gold would automatically be returned to guild aswell !!Does anyone need to sell guild locked stuff immediately, if organised i dont think so!!

also with the time period of items being sold after being untagged, some guilds might need quick FSP.. but the attacking back thing might be an alright idea, but could be abused

Buy more deposits or use the market place.
PVP is part of the game....if someone if foolish enough to be holding too much gold. They should be reminded from time to time.
It's a real simple concept.

I believe Generica said it best...if you're afraid to lose that much gold, don't go offline with it. There's at least a half dozen different ways to sink/get rid of your gold in a safe fashion that the only reason you get gold hit is if you're not playing it smart.
Personally, I do get rid of my gold when I've finished hunting. I haven't been hit in a long time. (Saying that, I'm now expecting it). But I would like the opportunity to get my gold back if I do get hit, purely as an alternative to bounty board. I know I can hit back anyway, but they may have hidden the gold they stole. This idea gives me a chance to get it back. Just a chance.

Why should you have another opportunity to get it back? You have one. Watch the person who hit you, hit them back if you catch them holding gold.

No way another is needed to be created by HCS.

I would love to hear what players think of the other ideas in this thread aswell.
Should some of the bounty gold taken from the bountied play goto the player who bountied them??
Should guild locked equipment have a time period after being untagged before it can be sold!!
Should there be a guild attack group against a guild thief (only the the thief)!!

NO, why penalize the bounty hunters?
Should guild locked equipment have a time period after being untagged before it can be sold!!
No, Just be careful with permissions.
Should there be a guild attack group against a guild thief (only the the thief)!!
While I dislike theives, NO. THis option would create the abilities to go on witchhunts.

However I will keep saying as many times as I need to that we should have gold and xp loss for the loser of any combat round, attacker or defender. There's no logical reason why the person initiating the attack only loses pvp rating if they fail..

Gold is easy enough to protect, so im not really in favor of catering further for the lazy people that just want to log off with millions on hand.

to both point you've put i agree...
as i said in the original text, it was brought to my attention about gold stealin so i asked the question wether i agree with it or not!!!
i also think that whoever loses should lose xp aswell
but what about guild thiefs still no1 has said anything about it????????????

to your 1st point if theres no gold on whom the bounty hunter attacks he get no gold if there is some then they get a bonus!! So understandin that its a bonus why not give the person who bounties some of it no one is penalised all get some!!?? (just a counter arguement)
point 2..how could there be witch hunts, dont steal, cant be attacked ??

1. Because the bounty hunter is already being paid a bonus by the reward from the bounty should they win. Although I wouldn't mind seeing gold won from PvP being prevented from being transferred, deposited or used in any manner for a period of 24 hours or so. That could cause some serious drama.
2. There could be witch hunts because it's a mob, and mobs rarely know when enough is enough. If you were attacked, that means it was by someone within 5 levels of you. If you are to scared to return hit a thief on your own and need a mob to have your back, then you're no different from a schoolyard bully and a coward at heart. As a player, you either hit the thief back on your own or you bounty. If you don't know how to overcome sets or stats to hit back, then you don't know the mechanics of the game very well and need to learn.

No! If the person placing the bounty wants some bonus gold they should go do some bounties themselves

The problem is where to draw the line. Things are not always black and white. Looking at game mechanics - what would determine whether the player could be attacked? How is it decided if they were a thief?
