Hi there!
As an alternative to getting some gear, get in a guild with maxed structures.
Help this helps!

Well first off, you want to put ALL of your Level Up Points (The 2 Points you get when you Level Up) into Damage and Damage only.
Second, you will want to get some gear, kill some rats and such again and find yourself a Weapon, Shield, Boots, Armor, an Amulet, etc. To equipt it just click on the item in your Inventory.
Now remember in Combat, these Rules apply.
To HIT the monster your ATTACK must be GREATER than the ENEMIES DEFENCE. (Your Attack > Enemies Defence).
To deal DAMAGE to the ENEMY, YOUR DAMAGE must be GREATER than the ENEMIES ARMOR. (Your Damage > Enemies Armor).
To kill the Enemy in 1 hit (ideal), your DAMAGE must be GREATER than BOTH the ENEMIES ARMOR and HEALTH (HP) combined. (Your Damage > Enemies Armor + HP).
Now lets look at a senario with the Snow Leopards.
My Reference http://wiki.fallensw...hp/Snow_Leopard
Now according to this page, this is the Snow Leopards MAX Stats possible, every monster is slightly different
Attack: 8
Armor: 6
Defence: 6
Damage: 7
HP: 10
Now using what I just told you. You need at LEAST;
Attack: 7 - To HIT
Damage: 17 - To 1-hit KILL
These are the MAIN Stats you are looking for. Also, now there is a slight 2% chance that you will miss, don't ask me it just works that way.
So you will need to be able to Defend yourself. You have 2 options here, either go Defensive (monster won't hit you), or Armor-based (monster will idealy do 1 Damage to you). At your Level most of he gear is made for Armor-based defences. So you will like to have 8 Armor to be able to survive a miss
I hope this helps and isn't too overwhelming
Enjoy!

Thank You Guys very much for Your Help I greatly Appreciate it I joined a Guild so I have been winning some bigger battles I have to get back to the snow leopards to get a skin! Thanks Again for the Help!!!
Run the quests - the XP is generally worthwhile, and they introduce you to various game concepts/mechanics.
