But if your guild was in second, because some of your teammate arrive late and you hold the for for a while, and by that time you had more % of the kills want a chance at getting that win or would you just settle for second? I assume that you guys would want, howerver slightest, a chance to catch the leading guild and try to get the win, because lets face it, RP points are worthless right now, and I dont think any buffs (short of Conserve 1k) would get people to join into the fray to get those points...


I 'd love to have a chance even when starting late, but that wouldnt be fair to the guild that ognanised itself faster and had more kills in right from the start..Its speed and organization that is rewarded and by keeping it that way, without regenerating HP, smaller guilds have better chances to "steal" the win early than extending time and giving a chance to larger guild to use numbers.

Razors Edge and WAL wins happened that way(coming in fast and massively before FFS could get at 100% ), i am sure with the regeneration it would be much much harder.

After just reading the entire thread here are my thoughts.

xp buff
The xp buff is appealing, however as it already currently is the top 10 always immediatly is at the release of new content back again on end of content. Meaning adding a buff that allows you to level even faster just means more people are reaching end of content and HCS has to offer new content faster.

pvp prestige

I completly agree with you on this and I love the idea of npc's who randomly appear which you can attack for prestige, however making them to hard to kill, would ruin the idea a bit.

It's actually not that different from the system now, the system now is have alot of members online at the time the titan appears and the odds you win are bigger.

I'm not entirely sure but regenerating hp might mean as well that more guilds have a chance. As for now, you know that you guys are the only ones just going after a titan.
But what are the factors for that?
I know for my guild that we were eager to participate as well in titanhunting. But at a titanappearing we mostly had 1 member or 0 members that wanted to participate. Out of own experience I noticed then that when I was the only one from my guild you guys for isntance had 3-4 people already. By the time we had enough members to compete decently the titan was at half it's hp. So if a guild now comes later, they know that the odds are they'll win are really slim.

For instance if FFS only had 100 kills at the time of the titan hp's being more then half, would you guys still go after it? KNowing that the odds are another guild already is at 49%.

However I must say if a titan hp's regenerate it could mean some titans never get defeated or require such an insane amount of stamina that the prices even increase for the items.

So to conclude regenerating hp could be a good idea, but in my opinion only if there are prices for 2-5th guilds that are worthwile

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

this is my idea for titans

I agree with giving out rewards to runners up but instead of just giving it to them i think there needs to be a base they have to accomplish for instance this also changes the the fact that the winners of over 50% get their drop the moment they get the 51%

my idea bare with me....

lets say the titan had 5000 htps

1st place kills 2501 and get the drop at that point

there is now 2499 left

and 4 places perhaps make each piece worth roughly 624 htps but not awarded until the titan is complete that way people get items for effort not place so if jsut 2 guilds where fighting and it was neck and neck the 2nd guild has the possibility of 3 or 4 pieces where as if there where 4 guilds competing the # of pieces you can get likely diminishes

furthermore it would help to prevent people from attempting to let the winner do all the work and then swoop in for the last 4 places getting 10 kills ea so it would not look like

1st 4900 full item drop
2nd 85 1 piece rewarded
3rd 10 1 piece rewarded
4th 4 1 piece rewarded
5th 1 1 piece rewarded

I think it would look more like the next few examples


1st 2501 full item drop
2nd 624 1 piece rewarded
3rd 624 1 piece rewarded
4th 624 1 piece rewarded
5th 624 1 piece rewarded

1st 3125 full item drop + 1 piece rewarded
2nd 1248 2 pieces rewarded
3rd 527 0 pieces rewarded
4th 50 0 piece rewarded
5th 50 0 piece rewarded

1st 2505 full item drop
2nd 795 1 piece rewarded
3rd 700 1 piece rewarded
4th 500 1 piece rewarded
5th 500 1 piece rewarded


this way it forces people to work for their pieces and if one guild does all the work of the titan they get all they rewards and i think it might stifle peoples complaining about waaa waaa this one guild got the drop and i worked hard and didn't get anything
