Interesting twist of titan items

So long as a titan is roaming the realm of fallen sword, the items that were received from previous defeats from that type of titan are weakened (no stamina/XP gain and 3/4 damage).

If you guys don't like them being out there go finish them off......

Oh wait, why would you do that? They are already secured.......

THAT is the issue, not that they are sitting there waiting. There is no incentive for anyone else to go kill them off. 2nd - 5th would fix this problem.

^ Yet this simplest of fixes, agreed to by every party that matters (The majority of the playerbase, the actual group of players successful hunting titans, and developers) hasn't been implemented despite being on the drawing board for months.

It makes one wonder.

+seriously..

its like GvG alllll over again..they put it in the game and forgot about it. it baffles me that they still haven't added the 2nd-5th place prizes or even discussed possible solutions with us

All it's going to do is save ffs some stam so they dont have to finish them off. That's only if the 2-5 prizes are valuable enough to go after.

It will allow the whiners who say they have little reason or chance to even try........have one less excuse as to why they don't.

I made this suggest from a role playing point of view, that the titan walking around the world of fallen sword would have some negative impact on the game and since the titan and the item that is recovered from the titan are linked I choose in my idea to link the two.

A continuation of this idea is to get rid of the Titan announcement and rely on changes in the stats of the titan items (and certain new bound inventable items) to signal when a titan is loose (but not where). Sort of like Sting in LotR.

There is no RPG element in the game :D At least not a solid one..

Perfect example is PvP..when you are attacked and lose XP what does that mean? the hero takes hard hits and forgets stuff??



P.S. Sting is cool:D But i rather prefer Anturil ;) (Yes the book version sword that glows near Orcs)
