I mean no dobut that they do indeed sink gold, with the pvp area, AH pots and such.
But I thought the point of all those, was to bring down the cost of FSP.
So they can be blance.
Yet FSP keep going up. 140k for one? >.<
I understand FS is growing, but still :[ FSP cost too much. I do not speak on my behalf, but for all those who can't buy FS or get them so easily as others.
Any feedback would be nice :]

Until it is profitable to scavenge at current market prices, the big scavengers won't do it.

One of the main factors in the current spike is that the market still has not recovered from the scavenging bug where UB200 and EW1500 were paying out at below the normal cost.
Until it is profitable to scavenge at current market prices, the big scavengers won't do it.
I agree with this, my 11 EW1.5k in backpack only drained a few thousand golds from the economy compared to the million they could of drained. Same with my 12 UB200 and such. Basically everyone in my guild who uses these pots regularly got stocks for at least a month..

all it's going to take is a good weekend LE scavenging event. like zachorizi or whatever his name is. or the full moon to come out and you'll see the marketplace drop like the dow did last year.
I doubt thats what going to make them drop.
But i will hope for the best =]

hell I sold 13 million gold for 130 fsp a couple of weeks back, so scavenging works with the right mobs.

But it was only for one moment. And only those players who were online could get them.
It would be nice if anyone at anytime could get them at that price.

When was the game ever about being fair? It's a player driven market, So I guess you know who to blame.
You?

It's a system based player-driven market. The system largely dictates how the players will drive the market. The gold sinks haven't kept up with more players reaching level cap.

i dont see how they can ever keep up, short of drastically cutting the gold acquired in hunting

I'm not the one listing my gold as high as possible to get rid of it as soon as I can..
Easy to point the finger huh?
The players offloading gold to the marketplace above what you want to pay are the ones you should be blaming. I have other uses for gold.

there are simply too many people burning too much stamina and getting too much gold from mobs to sink it
i dont see how they can ever keep up, short of drastically cutting the gold acquired in hunting
Scaling up the variance of structures cost per member.
Making more useful items such that people forge items once in a blue moon
