Many high level players RETIRE with big bp slots..at times almost equal to guild store of their guild..so specially for small or close knit guilds its an asset..if we stop this it would significantly cause loss to this feature.

If you want to keep inactives as back pack space then they should be open to gvg and prestige hits as a consequence of harboring them for back pack space only.
Unless you know the name there is no other way I know of to find an inactive not in a guild.
Leave them for bag space, leave them open to gvg, leave them open to prestige. Already a large amount of inactives have been kicked for the new surge of GvG.

If only tagged items - then inactives should be able to recieve them as most are saying - they are continuing to serve their guild in this way.
If it is possible to prevent untagged items being sent then this would be good. I and others I know have lost items sent to inactives mistakenly thinking they were tagged guild items.

or alternatively, "no no no no no no no no no no no no NO!" Due to the exorbitant price of a GS slot in comparison to that of a personal backpack slot, you will find that many (hey, make that most if not all) of the smaller guilds will find themselves in a very tight position being forced to purchase a lot of (very expensive) guild store slots, or buying slots for the guild founder who, as others have pointed out before me, may go inactive at a future date thus making the investment a waste for the guild. This idea smells like greedy money grabbing

The 3 questions are all tied together clearly:
If you want to keep inactives as back pack space then they should be open to gvg and prestige hits as a consequence of harboring them for back pack space only.
Unless you know the name there is no other way I know of to find an inactive not in a guild.
Leave them for bag space, leave them open to gvg, leave them open to prestige. Already a large amount of inactives have been kicked for the new surge of GvG.
+1
The only change I'd like to see is Guild members be locked during GvG.
The rest are fine.

That player paid for those slots, if they didnt want that to happen they would have left the guild (as some have).
Sending inactives gear should still be allowed

If you are a guild founder you would surely say no to this topic - the guild can have a lot more tagged items by using inactives as mules - but you could say "why keep inactives - because they don't benefit the guild (except storage and Guild XP:)"
We don't keep inactives in our guild - which gives us a very active chat - lots of new persons to say hello to etc. - Yes, we have trouble with storage from time to time, but then we adjust our guild items.
The problem with inactives is that they take up a spot for the active ones - oh yes I see top guilds who will not recruit anything below level 400 etc... But why, a low level player today can be a high level player in few months - and then you have an active guild.
So as a none guild-founder (even though my founder surely would kill me if she reads this:) - I will say that drop the benefits in having inactive members - create a mausoleum or something like that to honor the fallen. But stop using them as backpacks and stop making the guild XP count in the guild ranking.
