Due to a lot of people going inactive or being terminatd we have had to reset our buff-tool on our forum.
I know this may seem like a pain but we ask all of you who sells buffs to please go to this link:
http://fallen-empire...ind-buffers.asp
and re-add your buffs, with the new prices and all new buffs you may have had since last time..also add what lvl they are at.

I've re-added mine. 8)

With the reset of this due to inactive players, you might want to modify your mod list too, as I know at least one listed isn't here anymore. ;)

Yes. I had a lot of trouble getting my buffs changed on the tool after asking everyone who I was able to ask twice...

please add your buffs, and please all take care when adding buffs to make sure you got all correct on each one before saving :P

and we will remove the mod list as well, as most of those are gone..but for now, any member of higher lvl in Fallen Empire can moderate list as well if needed, so send a pm if you want something fixed to one of us

I'm in! This is good as I was in there in at least 2 price incarnations before that did not get edited out - nice to start afresh! Hope you get plenty more business - we have a link to you in our guild website to help our newbies find buffers!

I have made a new update to the buff tool so you can vote of the actuall buffs/buffer.
The hope is to give people an idea of the good/stable buffers and who is not :)

The voting was inspired by viewtopic.php?p=409389#p409389 by Nerzhed

I made this quick and dirty and might screw things up a bit (AJAX inside AJAX inside AJAX - gets a bit hairy) - but test it out and let me know in this thread.. If it causes to many problems, I will just remove it again.

You can only vote if you click on the actual buff icons. Voting does not work if you search for a player, though you will see their rating.

WOOT! Couldn't be happier. I put my buffs back out there now, I hope it gets used as much as it used to :)

Glad to see its current again. I cant tell ya how much I missed it being current. Much needed update, thanks again.

Thanks to both of you.
If people wish we could do a regular wipe of the data (maybe make a poll about it if you like). could flush every 1,2,3,6,12 month. (yea sucks to insert all buffs at a regular basis, but will ensure it is upto date).

Your call guys.. Just let me know how you want it :)

I saw someone post about making it to where you could have a login so you can edit your own buffs from time to time... perhaps you could do something like that instead... maybe if the login hasn't been on in 3 months to make sure their buffs are still correct it will suspend them from the list. Just a thought for ya.. might make it easier for you in the long run Wzarlon.

+1

Actually would help a lot and create less need for and stress in your mods.

Voting for buffers is very, very useless. You can just vote for yourself over and over, what's the point? I say ditch it.

well actually no, as I just had a go to test it to see, and once you have voted for yourself you cant vote again on that same buff again..same goes if you vote for someone else..after voting you just get a green tick up, and that is it..so we will leave it there, and hope people are honest enough not to vote for themselves..if it affects the tool badly we will remove it, and of course all votes will be flushed as soon as we again in the future reset the tool.

:P so I have to be honest and admit that 1 vote for me on Adept Learner was cast by me...sorry

if it affects the tool badly we will remove it

I think it should be removed. For example, someone voted me a "1" in a couple buffs that I've not cast on another player in... I can't remember how long, as well as a "4" also in a buff I've not cast on another player in ages. I'm not an "advertising buff seller", so I don't sell that much. So, that means someone voted me a "1" on a couple buffs that I did not buff them with. This just means the "voting" will be nothing more than a popularity contest and a way to "get back at" someone you don't like for some reason, instead of a realistic way to see a buffer's reputation.

This is still going on. supermum, I don't think it's working, as people are not honest. I haven't sold any buffs (since I don't post in the FSBox), and yet someone is going in and ruining my ratings. And I'd guess I'm probably not the only one this is happening to.

will try to bring this to Wzarlon attention as he's the only one who can make changes like this to the find buffers tool.

and (about the voting) I think it's a good idea in theory but in practice it just won't work...
