Ok this is my first suggestion so don't laugh too hard.

I know the whole idea of Crystalline items is that they are non-repairable, which is why this idea might be stupid, but once they've gone to zero they have become completely useless and must be thrown away. My idea is that there could be something similar to the blacksmith, in that it would be for repairing crystalline gear.

Now for the Gold sink part

There could be a set price that may or may not be different based on the items level. Of course, since the items are crystalline the price to fix them could be in the millions. The catch would be that each time you use this it only repairs 1 point of durability at a time. There could be a box that you would put in the number of durability points you want to fix, for convenience.

Now tell me, honestly, is this a stupid idea?

LMAO! ... What? You didn't think I'd do as you say, did you?

I know the whole idea of Crystalline items is that they are non-repairable, which is why this idea might be stupid, but once they've gone to zero they have become completely useless and must be thrown away.

This is the whole point of why Crystalline items were created in the first place.

My idea is that there could be something similar to the blacksmith, in that it would be for repairing crystalline gear.

And he finally gets to his actual suggestion. So I finally get to my actual response: No. It's been suggested before and the admins said no, as it defeats the purpose of Crystalline items.

Now for the Gold sink part. There could be a set price that may or may not be different based on the items level. Of course, since the items are crystalline the price to fix them could be in the millions. The catch would be that each time you use this it only repairs 1 point of durability at a time. See above.

Now tell me, honestly, is this a stupid idea?

Yes. Hey, you asked! And anyone know knows me knows that I'm always honest and I don't sugar-coat the truth.

Now, I have a suggestion for you. If you think your idea is stupid, then don't post it. If you think your idea has merit, then don't continually say, "ok this could be stupid but..." Have some confidence in yourself, or keep your ideas in your head. Putting yourself down, especially in the post subject, doesn't make you look good to anyone, and isn't going to get anyone interested in what you have to say.

Spend millions to fix Crystalline items? It would be far easier just to buy new one's...and cheaper...Octo Spine has a durability of 200...millions for one point x200 times? You'd see the items die off like the plan was prior to UB200 killing the market.
