Saying it is their mistake, is a little bit simplified, I think, how many newbies understand the meaning of 'base stats' in this game?
The fact remains, there is a Reset Skills option, there was a Reset Level Up points option, and I think that should have stayed, for a resonable price

it is common, and i hear it all the time, put all level up points in damage, put all level up points in damage, so player level 5, which we will say for arguments sake, did not thoroughly search through thousands upon thousands of pages of information regarding where he should put his level up points, so puts 5 in HP, 6 in defense, a couple in attack, then listens to everyone else, say you should put your points all in damage, player plays gets to level 100, and realizes that at no time so far in the game has he needed to put any points in damage, and wants to start playing around in pvp and would like to put points in attack, or defense, or yes, even armor, that now is a 175 FSP decision, and that compared to the 50 or 75 FSP that it used to cost is a significant increase, and yes i think a bit on the high side, and note, that no cow was said to be at fault in the player decisions.
wow you have no sense of humour fine.....surely its on the high side due to the recent events??

175 FSP! This is terrible! There are enough people around with screwed stats trying to save to reset already. More than doubling the cost is ridiculous and ensures they'll never afford it!
The base cost was adjusted to be 150 instead of 100 as the upgrade is now the equivelant of two upgrades (ie. level point and skill reset). Remember that each time this upgrade is used however, the cost increases.

Well I'm glad I started playing before this update then. So sorry for the new guys who mess up their stats.
Attack 46
Defense 11
Armor 32
Damage 328
HP 30
And I've done fine, I was trying to put them into everything equally until about lvl 30, then I tried to compensate for having lower hp by putting points in there. It wasn't until the 50s (I think) that I started putting them all in damage, and I put a couple more in attack afterwards. I've never had any problems levelling.

Problems in levelling is all relative. You obviously don't focus on leveling, as long as it happens it seems to be good enough for you :?

But it's always nice to think of the cost of playing the game for new players. Maybe that's just me :?

I was able to 1-hit easily until 186, at which point the extra points wouldn't have made a difference. You're right, I don't focus on leveling, so perhaps I'm missing something. Please explain how I could have done better than 1-hitting before 186, and how I could have 1-hit without CA and with all my level up points in damage afterwards. Would those extra 110 or so points have made a difference what level CA I used?

Same as Khanate. That is a bit rough on players who go on for awhile and spread them out or simple put them into combos that don't work. :?
Also, let's stay on topic. Maybe someone wants to go all attack for PvP, or all armor... doesn't matter. The price is still rough.

I was able to 1 hit survive easily until level 186. Without DD (except on 149), CA or SSI. And using barely any buffs and without epics. With screwed up points I would of used more ressources. Although it does not make a huge difference until 186, I was just closer to 100% efficiency.
As far as the 110 points making a difference. With Fury 175 and Zerk 350 and DD work out to 248 damage points. At level 200 you have about 4000 damage without DD, so this is a 6.2% difference equivalent to ~CA25. So yes it would have influenced what level of CA you would of used.

The cost is unfortunate, but at least the loophole is now closed, its worth it IMO
A pure level up point reset could be added though. One that doesn't reset VL.
Though that might entail changing how VL is calculated.
Fixes the problem, and doesn't create another one.
