The cost has increased as it now resets both.

i understand that the cost increased because it does both but you should have done an automic reset to both as well. not just just skill points.

This is minor imo. However it was something the Cows chose to link. The reset fixed instantly a lot of manipulation done by players intentionally deleveling themselves against the description of the VL.

Would be a pain clicking more then 1000 level up points LOL

i guess i'm just annoyed cuz last week i was thinking about fixing the 65 points that i have where i don't want them. it would have cost me 75fsp had i done it then but now it would cost me 175fsp plus i'd be wasting the free skill reset they just gave. :(

Its for players who intentionally delevel themselves, now they cannot ONLY reset their level up points, thereby still keeping their higher level buffs.

This way, if a player delevels and wants to reset their VL, they have to reset their buffs and get the same buffs as other players of their level.


Actually, all they'd have to do is reset all their points and then reassign skill points while still up high, THEN delevel before assigning level up points..

Loophole?

Not if they dumped them all into skills that were at the range they were going to be at. Example, assigning 175 skill points to KE, Ditch, Curse, Shockwave, etc while still at level 600, then deleveling to 400.

You're not hearing what I'm saying. Actual Level and Virtual level are the same check; if you're sitting at level 400 with 0 level up points assigned, your VL is still 400. If everything gets reset, you're still going to have 5 skill points per level x 400 levels = 2000 skill points to assign. Nothing in the game currently forces you to have level up points assigned before skill points, so it is still possible to delevel, with 175 buffs. Just not as far and not with things like NMV, terrorize, flinch and Savagery.

sorry now I understand lol. Reset player,( skills and level up points ). assign skills to 175 and then de-level. Interesting question

Okay, now that all the "MY UPDATE DIDN"T WORK" guys should be answered (hint: it takes time to propagate.)

With the big increase in cost, how about a mandatory "player reset" to reset level-up points as well?

Looks like it would work to me. Gonna have to link buff level to VL or Require all level up points to be allocated before skills points can be allocated.

Level up points? Ooops. Not that bad. I'm not an ALL damage player lol 65 points ain't that big a deal however I see your point... 175 FC is now the new expensive upgrade, and I agree unnecessarily expensive.

As far as skills, well, I can get rid of Spell Break, a broken skill :)

I have 120 of 372 level up points in wrong place. I was going to reset level up points for 50 FSP, but now I have to pay 150 FSP which I will never get :(

you're right. 65 level up points in the wrong spot isn't going to kill me. just annoyed that whenever i do decide to fix them it will cost an extra 100fsp. i should have just done it last week when i was thinking about. i just didn't want to do all that clicking. :)

Its all good and nice when we get something for free. However, something is wrong.

If now is Player Reset and it resets skills points and level up points, why only skills were reseted?

In upgrade section we still have 3 options:

Player Reset: which cost increased ( before this changed it was 100 for me ) now is 175.

Reset All Skill Points: if option above resets skills and level up why this one is still here? ( cost also increased ( I had 50 now is 100 ).

Reset single skill: still here and that is good.


I think that on future updates like this, whenever they happen again, instead of HCS do the reset, leave a 0 cost available and leave it to the players to use it when they think they should.
