It doesnt matter what changes HCS make, someone somewhere will find a loop hole and exploit it either for themselves or their guild.

The introduction of the Titans looked like it could be a lot of fun but was soon monopolised by a few guilds and players with fast connections, who found the loop hole. Whether or not some kind of script is involved in this, i really havent a clue.

The trading of RP was never an issue as far as i was concerned, it promoted friendship between guilds, everyone had to work together to get the rewards on offer, surely this is what the game is all about.

I know a few ppl do like the opportunity to show their might and attack indiscriminately, so who's stopping you ? stop whining and just get on with it.

You introduced the RP rewards for GvG and upset the wearers of the crystaline items that cost a lot of FSP to aquire. These players have now adapted and accepted that these attacks will keep happening and have adjusted their sets accordingly.

HCS please stop listening to the minority with the loudest voices and find some way to put suggested improvements to the players in order to get some proper feedback before implementing them. I have played and donated to this game over the last 2 years, i'm not a complainer but i am getting very frustrated.

Too much flaming occurs in the forum these days....anybody new to the forum, willing to express their opinion on a mater is ridiculed & flamed by regular posters in the forum
Just like PMs....forum posts should be reportable to curb senseless flaming
This may be a very radical idea, but would allow greater participation in the forum as folks won't be reluctant to the post in the forum in the fear of being flamed

There is a way to report a post. The exclamation point in the box at the bottom right corner of each post allows you to report it. I do feel moderators would be beneficial to the forums and encourage more people to voice their opinions.

Thanks for the info :)
And I couldn't agree more, forum moderators would make the forums a much better place & would greatly encourage the majority of the FS population to actually come to the forum & voice their opinion without fear of being discouraged & ridiculed

Just read the latest update, now that seams like a fair and reasonable way to go forward with these GvG's cos lets face it, some of the smaller guilds cannot get the rewards without the friendly agreements. WHy should they miss out?

The problem with voicing your opinion on here is it doesnt really matter. if you have a problem with HCS or something they are doing. They dont really listen and not only do they not listen they delete your posts.

I am done with them. I have gone the way of levy and phool. It's just sad because this game has so much potential if it werent for the people running it.

What I've seen is that HCS has implemented 2 great updates which greatly increased player interaction, which have since then been picked apart and systematically dismantled by the complainers because either 1) it didn't mesh with their philosophy of game play, or 2) they want the rewards to be only for themselves.

To me it doesn't matter if people are trading prestige, or trading RP. That's none of my business. The important thing is that more people are interacting with each other, and not necessarily on the "I attacked you, or OMG I'm so mad why did you attack me level".

It's the friendly interactions between players that keep people playing, and both of these initial updates did just that. - Helped develop relationships between players.

Now for a few people to over-analyze the "intentions" of an update and to deem that one method of using the new features is "cheating" based on some sort of moral or philosophical interpretation of how it fits in with their method of game play is both selfish and ridiculous. Why ruin an update for the rest of us, or why try to claim it solely for yourself?

HCS you have to stand up for yourselves. The initial updates were great and I can't thank you enough for providing the opportunity to meet all of the new players while participating in the new features, while it lasted.

Unfortunately from a personal standpoint Prestige is no longer attractive, so I have stopped participating in that.

Now, GvG is no longer attractive, and not only that it's scary to even talk about in-game anymore.

Anyways, I've gone on long enough but bottom line, my point is "Keep features that maximize player interaction", and "Be wary of taking advise solely from forum input because often it is not representative of your Gaming Community as a whole".

Thanks
-Shin

Very well stated by both the Boot Camp folks. Excellent job. I can't agree more.

I am so glad to see everyone giving such well thought out responses to this thread. HCS locked my last thread as it got out of hand. Its been hard to express how upset HCS has made me without going off the deep end and getting my post locked or deleted.

I just opened another thread telling the FS world about my issues with the HCS support staff. Please feel free to rant it will happen anyway why not get started early.
