I appreciate these updates but GvG for RP has been a problem since day one. Many of us pointed this out when this was first released but nothing was done and here are now... and it's only going to get worse. If medium and large guilds have to pay rediculous amounts of gold per conflict while multi account small guilds pay next to nothing then you're crazy. There's zero logic in this thinking, it's only band-aid fix that won't heal.

May I suggest GvG RP be designated for leveling packs and Titan RP designated for quest items. In turn update a couple more leveling packs to be worth while and add a couple more quest items and another Epic item or two. This would help balance out the RP and how it's used.



While small guilds having to pay nothing to GvG might be an issue, the RP gained from GvG should not be. Just because your guild cannot compete in GvG does not mean guilds who can should be punished with only being allowed to have leveling packs. Most GvG guilds do not care to level, so whats a leveling pack reward good for.

Level shouldn't matter, I see your guild has over 20 players level 100 or higher to hunt Oggy. But does your guild work together and hunt it down when it comes out? Titan hunting isn't about how many players or how high of a level the guild is, what matters is organization and dedicated hunters.


So is GvG. Its takes a group effort to be successful and stay near the top.

Does absolutely nothing to fix any issue. Only thing it accomplishes is to waste resources people have put into the game (Real Money).

- Increased the minimum number of participants required for a guild conflict to 4.

Good start. But there were much better ideas posted in other threads.
One I really liked was to eliminate the participant settings and base max participants by the "Max Conflict Participants" upgrade.

- Updated the log message at the end of GvG's to show the final score of the conflict.

Good Update

- Change the cost to initiate a guild conflict to be based on your guild XP lock rather than your GvG rating.


What does one have to do with the other? This update makes no sense whatsoever.
Again, lets punish the players that put time, money, and effort to be top ranked.

Have to wonder how much Brandy was involved during this updates brainstorming session. Obviously, not much time and consideration was put into the ideas players shot out.

I had better stop now, got my vent out.

That's why I suggested updating more leveling packs for RP. These could be for better GvG or PvP or just leveling. But all in all there's no way RP should be gained from both Titan hunting and GvG farming. They're two completely different styles of play and the rewards should be as well

RP is Reputation Points. They are earned by doing well as a guild in one particular way. So, items bought with RP should be available to guilds that do things as a team. like GvG and titan hunting. Introduce a PvP pack. level 200 LD, DC, KE, FS... something like that. make it worth 30 RP for 4-6 Hours. That would be useful to GvG guilds :)

I have a concern regarding the guild store mailbox....what happens with the numerous lags and server events that happen all to often? Will the guild store mailbox be frozen during these events?

GvG should be able to load to titan epics anyways. Even if new GvG buff packs were introduced.

However I think that the RP rewards for titans are too low, is anyone even bothering to go the titan way to getting epics?

So now a guild has to decide to either level, or just GvG.

Doing both is too expencive.

Ofcourse the GvG guilds like this update. GvG is cheaper now for them and much less competition from the leveling guilds.


Its not to expensive for us. A top 5 GvG guild, and top 20 XP guild. The cost actually has been reduced. So please explain.



It isnt hard to figure - your cost was high because your rating was so high. Personally I think that was unfair. However the fact that your costs were reduced relative to the past doesn't make them balanced vs the rest of the FS world. Guilds with little XP (read the GvG guilds who now have to have 4 rather than 1 member) get to initiate for MUCH less than you do.

Maybe your guild can readily afford to GvG - good for you. The difference between paying 10-100k and 400k is enough to make me think twice about GvG.

Of course we just got initiated against by 7 guilds since this change, so maybe we won't have to spend to initiate :)

LOL Good luck getting into the top ten to cash in. The top ten are there for a reason. Rewarding them would not make your guild better at GvG. It would just mean you would never be rewarded.

Fact is, if you cannot compete in GvG now without trading for RP, you will not be able to compete when the real GvG guilds are rewarded, if they reward the ladder. Again, simple as that.

There really is nothing that will stop RP trading. Rewarding the ladder could slow it up a bit, if done right. Need to implement changes that encourage competition.

As GvG stands now, the only encouragement to force a draw is guild pride.

i dont get it we arnt anywhere close to the top 250 guilds and we have to pay 125k gold for every gvg ???

Ahem, anyone know what this really created?

Think about it... I'm a low level guild I can start a GVG for next to nothing, you are a high level guild and it costs say 250k gold now, so the low level guild says how about we initiate a conflict with you and lose, you just have to pay the 100k? Hmmm... I see a new profitable opportunity....

Can you see it now FSBos Post "cheap GVG initiators, we'll initiate at half your cost" ahahaha great solution HCS...

I think this will have to change soon Hoof, please see the issue and make the change, and it would be ideal if you could somehow return the stam and remove the RP being attained so cheap right now...

And what benefits does separating RP from titans and GvG have? I can see none, looks more of a way to have crappy rewards on one side.

can anyone answer my question is it really going to cost me that much to start a gvg because if it is i quit gvging and just going right back to pvp
