So, great now you've (once again) listened to the Big, Powerful & Wealthy. Time to turn your ear to the portion of players who aren't so loud about all the updates and change the "4 player minimum in a guild to initiate conflict thingy", to so that 4 participants can be allowed in all GvGs, but you don't have to have that many people in your guild to actually start the conflict.

Thank you!

Looks like you found a way around that, didn't you??

Yes, of course, what did you expect .

Guess You'll have to TRY AGAIN!! haha...I'm sure you can find new players who will help ya. Good luck! And thank you, HCS, boy you worked FAST on this one!! Kudos!!!!

With the prices of RP items now it wont matter what the initiation costs for conflicts are...

Lets just wait until everyone overflows the market with them until the prices drive it down to unprofitably.

If you aren't going to refund the millions upon millions that so many guilds have already spent, then it is a completely unfair update, and will likely just destroy the value of RP earned so far. Too little too late unless it is back dated to the beginning like you did with the 10 RP change.

So, our cost of initiating has gone from 10k (variable) 2 days ago to 620k yesterday, and now back down to 50k today?

Are you guys serious? Are you even trying anymore? This is getting ridiculous.

Make some decisions and stick with them. Sheesh!

Ouch, I am sorry to hear that. I was referring to the fact that the 3 recruits had been termed. I'm sorry bud. Of course, terminations can't be discussed in the forums. I am sure you'll sort it out. I do wish you good luck, sorry you got caught up in whatever it was that happened with your recruting efforts.

Now all HCS has to do now Is make a minimum requirement of playes in a guild to be a gvg.

Example.
Must have 4 active players in a guild that have been on in the last 7 days to start a guild conflict.

Now this is fair.
What do you think?

Since terminated accounts cant be attacked i dont see why they should count to reach the min number of players to GvG... i find these things just sad :|

In all honesty, when you change your mind like this in 24 hours it just makes the decision makers at Hunted Cow Studios look like idiots.

Do you think if the President of the United States makes a decision and then comes out 24 hours later and says "woops, we'll just listen to feedback", he would get any respect? Not even close.

All this does is undermine your authority and ability to make logical decisions in the first place.

What I want to know is... "What was the logic and decision making process that led to the decision to charge higher level guilds more gold in GvG?" Who was the person that suggested this and what were his reasons behind it? What was the HCS group response? Was there debate and discussion?

I'm more confused and less hopeful there are any constructive changes being made to this game. You might as well throw darts after a dozen beers, make the change and wait for who shouts the most about it. That seems to be the M.O. with changes in the game.

Grow some cajones and make solid, good decisions the first time that you actually thought through and then stick to your decisions for at least a week.

This "woops, I guess we riled up too many people" decision making process is embarressing.

Agreed, while I respect someone that can admit they did something wrong this seems to have happened quite a few times recently...

Dear HCS,
Can you please explain to us your rationale behind the latest updates?

Do you want to increase the amount of GvG GRP trading, multi-account creation and frustration levels of the vast majority of players? The updates will achieve this. This also links in to your recruitment initiative. Since it began I've noticed that multiple "recruits" joined up with a 1-5 minute difference between their recruitment times...and most of which didn't even take a single step within the FS world to have a look around when they started!!! Just look at some of the new "players" names...they are a jumble of randomly pressed keys.

Due to the substantial FSP rewards from these 2 activities (and more) players will break the rules. They may change IP addresses but it is obvious what is going on. Some guild-founders have been offering 10 FSP to new recruits for each GvG conflict they win. Compare this to the cost of starting a GvG and you'll see that trading and multi's will still increase.

Having such a large in-game-reward associated with a flawed system is ripe for abuse. As coyotik and others have already asked on numerous occasions...please remove the connection between GRP and epic components.

I guess asking through a ticket to support would clarify this to you.

HCS have started numerous threads recently asking for community input. They are trying, even if at first they may not be able to judge all complications. The only problem is people like you who complain up a storm and slam their every move. If you want to be heard, come up with something worthwhile to say.

Thank you for this update HCS. It's a nice medium and evens the playing field for everyone.

Just because they reversed their decision (for the better) in 24 hrs does not make them idiots.....

@HCS

Thanks. Really mean it :)

We don't always get updates right however we do change these to do whats best for the game. We feel this is a better solution that leaving things broken.

We are also considering making inactives not count towards the 4 player limit.

Trial and error, followed by a quick fix is definately better than "I'm in charge, I dont care if it's broken, STFU"

Thanks for listening to your players HCS, and keep up the good work (now about those new inventable potions....)

And terminated accounts, right? As someone has demonstrated already, this is definitely an important fix for participant limit to be effective.

If inactives can't be hit during a conflict, why in the world should they count toward the 4 player limit?
