However consider this, without levelers where would PvPers get their targets? Other PvPers? How long would that remain fun. Just hitting people back and forth, for no real reason, not even gold. Sure some people would get off on it, but not nearly has many as play FS now. Now on the other hand without PvP where would the Levelers get their targets from. Well, the answer to that one, is the same place they get them now.
Don't get me wrong I'm not calling this a leveling game. I'm calling it a MMORPG. But let's be honest, without the levelers, this game would not exist. At least not for very long. Thus I don't see how anyone can call it a PvP game.

+1True... in my opinion, it needs leveling, PvP, GvG, and all the options to be considered a game. Without any one of the major features PvP. leveling, or GvG. This game would be lame.... lol
So saying it is focused on any one of these IS false, I agree.

Ok, I know what many of you are going to say, but I just came up with a reason why bounty hunters should not be allowed to be bountied. Unlike a PvPer when they get put on the bounty board, they can make free hits against the player that put them on the bounty board. Bounty Hunters can't typically do that since their target is typically beyond the 5 level range.
Absolutely NOT ... Bounty Hunters take the risk, knowing full well they can and sometimes do get bountied back. If you have a a "no penalty" clause, then, as others have said, folk are gonna be hitting with 100 stam hits just for the fun of it.
To quote an old saying "if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen" - i.e. if you can't accept you're possibly going to get bountied back, don't bounty hunt - SIMPLE.

It is a PVP game and for that reason anyone can be bountied, im pretty sure it would work that way in real life too.
No no no no NO! It's NOT a PvP game! PvP is an aspect of the game. Geeze, how many times people!
LMAO!... how are you going to tell a member of HCS what kind of game it is? =\

I can't take your gold or EXP?
The bounty board means the definite loss of both for me?
Yea, that's real fair.

but you are still causing damage and gold loss to the person that you are hitting. if they have on crystaline then it could lead even to equipment loss, and more cost replacing them. all the while you have nothing that can happen back at ya, but to be GVG'd yourself
Why would anyone wear crystaline offline when they know that there is a possibility of a bounty being placed on them. Or worse yet, leave it on when they are online and KNOW that someone is taking their bounty. IMHO, that is the fault of the player being bountied not the bounty hunter.

Talking GVG being bountied. if you go offline with crystaline it's for stam gain mostly. saying if your a target of GVG and don't want to be you have no way of excluding yourself, or of making the person hitting you pay for what they are doing. I know people love GVG and i can see the charm in it changing up sets and figuring this and that out, but some people don't want to do it at all, but still get hit and can do nothing to punish the attacker like they can in a normal attack.

In durability damage only.
Think of it as a gold sink; you gain nothing from the actual attack. And crystalline is a whole nother kind of sink.

I would definitely be in favor of eliminating durability loss for GvG hits. I can't tell you how many times I have logged on after getting home from work, to find out that I have 15k to 20k worth of damage to my equipment from 50 GvG attacks. I'm not against GvG in anyway. In fact we (especially our lower level players) are very active in GvG. Just do away with durability loss.

15/20K of damage to someone almost Level 400 isn't exactly a bank-breaker

i still think GVG attacks should be able to be bountied. how is a GVG attack any different than a pvp attack.
If this was the case when someone hit 4 different guildies of mine in GvG we could bounty them, and we could take 5 levels for each hit. Dropping their level 20 levels and knocking them out of some of their gear. This would absolutely end all GvG among higher level players. The only people that would be safe would be below level 150, where it literally takes an army of people to take levels any more. I don't think you have thought this through all the way.
