Hi all,

The game is now up and running however it make take a few minutes to get up to full speed.

We'd like to apologize for the recent downtime. This was due to a corruption in the database beyond our control. Due to this unfortunate error we have had to roll the server back by around 4 hours from when it went down yesterday. (3pm GMT / 9am CST) . Basically what that means is anything you did after this time yesterday effectively never happened. We are unable restore any XP, items etc. you gained during this time, however if you did purchase points after this cut-off point can you please submit a support ticket (tomorrow) and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Note: You will be unable to log into the support site until we sync the database to the support center tomorrow. We'll post in the news again once this is completed

Please note the Guide will not be available till tomorrow.

We will look at allocating all players with reserve stamina tomorrow.

Note: All mailboxes, auctions and guild mailboxes have been extended allow for the downtime.

Once again we'd like to apologize for the disruption to your gaming.

~ The Fallen Sword Team

Hoof, while I really do appreciate all the work you guys have been putting in, does this crash cause you to think that maybe regularly scheduled maintenance might be a good idea?

I'm no expert, just an interested journeyman, but I know I'd rather spend two or three hours away from the game while the servers get debugged/defragged every week or two than having to sit there and wonder when the game is going to be back up because the servers took a massive poo and died on you guys again because their stacks are so corrupt that they might as well be playing host to a horde of carpenter ants and termites, lol.

Indeed - great job and thanks for getting the game back up and running!

Question: will anything be done for those active GvG conflicts that expired during the downtime?

sitting on max stam...bah >.<

Bleeding stamina is frowned upon though. By everyone, really! It's not like Mistle wrote this paragraph and no one but her really cares about this. Honest!

So how you're going to explain that to Mistle? 8)

Thanks for getting things back up!

It has been up for more than a few minutes, and I am still having significant lag both in-game and in the Forum.

Any expectation of how long this should last?

Thanks!

Until the memcache gets up to speed, usually takes anything from 30-60 minutes.
