The sneek / brotherhood "rubbish" definately needs removing tho. Folk will sink gold if they're in with a reasonable CHANCE of making a (small) profit - but that stuff takes up FAR too high a percentage of occurrences, therefore reducing dramatically the chances of said (small) profit.
honestly... i dont know about sneek... but the Brotherhood Helm/Ammy is pretty decent for a few levels...but the fact that the whole set breaks KAX... is a turn off from using the shield

OK, perhaps the term rubbish (as in usability) was a bit harsh - but the "value" of the gear is peanuts. You can get PERFECT sneek / brotherhood in the AH for 1g starting bids ... Its completely and utterly valueless.

but then no one would scavenge.
maybe adding more worthwhile potions into it would help or maybe some other sort of reward like prestige or something.
just a passing thought as i reach for another can.

SOMETHING needs to be done to rekindle interest, definately. The cows don't seem interested in removing the sneak/brotherhood "tat" so something new of interest (and value, and semi-decent drop rate) needs to go in there as well to "compensate".

Cant they add the steamwork components in the caves?
With a decent to low drop rate , that will sing lots of gold...no?

Remove all the low level stuff when the Le are in the caves...hummm i don't think so. Where's the challenge in that! Might as well send you the LE items

If Scavenging was meant to act as an effective gold sink...it's a FAILURE atm, nobody's scavenging for potions & we all know that the LE s haven't made an appearance in the caves for quite a while now
If not remove them entirely, surely their drop rate can be tweaked or else make them useful by integrating them with the invention of the new arena sets or some new potions

I know (well, i'm hoping) that the "remove all the low level stuff" was tongue-in-cheek - but even if it WERE all removed, there's still plenty of challenge 'cos of the really low drop rates of the LE's and other "worthwhile" monsters in there
I know it's been mentioned somewhere that you have "plans" for Sneek / Brotherhood etc, but does the occurance AND drop rate have to be SO high as to disillussion so many folk from scavenging ? - the caves are meant to be a gold sink after all ? - and i suspect that's becoming more and more of a trickle lately ?
