I heard FFS has been pumping a lot more members on the maps though, which would directly explain the difference in kills.

weve had no more members on these hunts than in the past, however our fastest hunters seem to be shying away from the hunts all-together

And what do you think about shorter delays? aka 1 or 2 seconds. Or my walking speed suggestion. After making over 10% of posts in this thread I think it's about time you address those points.

personally, i would prefer the old system... and i think most people would as well. Any delay is a bad idea imo, its fun to click spam that titan once u get there.

i think the movement limitations is a better idea, although still not better than the old system, 4 spots is too few though. The fastest hunters in the game can move probably 10 spots in a second ... thats where it can get pretty frustrating to the slower players where it 2-3 seconds they can cover half the map.

edit: i dont see why its such a huge issue for slower players to "need to get kills" anyway, its all about the guild win. FFS simply cant win without slow hunters to cover all parts of the map. We have 2 very fast hunters. A handful of good hunters and slow hunters. We still win titans even if the 2 super fast hunters arent hunting it. Its all about organization and teamwork.

Titans aren't in a stack to disappear in a split second, and a delay prevents the tab kills automation.

Furthermore, you haven't read the suggestion fully. It's written that it would be an opt-in feature.

We can sit and argue in this thread about fairness and titan kills , connection speeds etc etc etc. But what I think it all boils down to is that almost all people find this change not fun. This is supposed to be entertainment and if there is a change made where the player reaction is this bad - then it needs to get changed back.

What kind of computer to these people that can move 10 spaces in a second have. I'm doing good to get 2.

I'd prefer a new system that one guild cant dominate. But i'm silly that way.

First, I will discuss the "improvement" that HCS claims to have made to titans. They stated that they made this change to help make it more fair for slower hunters. This change essentially has the opposite effect. With 3 second delays between each kill a super fast hunter can move to any spot on the map after 1 or 2 kills... then the kills go to whoever's connection can send the clicks to the server fastest.

I couldn't care less. It made me sick the way certain people seemed to cover nearly half of the map anyway, so what if they can cover the whole map now? At least they won't get almost all of the kills for any given spawn now. Can't be as bad as it was before. You get a big reward for winning so why shouldn't you have to work for it?

They could make it even fairer by placing a limit on how fast you can move between squares, say 300-500ms minimum.

And no I won't move to a different location because you want your titan medal. Harden up.

right now, 1 hour after the titan spawned, there are a total of 2 other people excluding the 5 people in FFS that are hunting this furvya ... nice work HCS your player base is dying.

I thought games were supposed to be fun ... I would donate to a game that I enjoyed , I wouldnt donate to "work" for something

FFS' reward is the same ... we get the win... and its alot easier for us to win now. The only guilds that seem to be benefit from this are big guilds, PANIC, that has numbers to get 2nd or 3rd for RP.

+1. the update made people even more to not participate on the titans.

persoanlly, I prefer the change - means I can compete with my average connection speed, terrible ping (why are the servers so far away?) and old computer

i prefer the change, but make it quicker (ie reduce the HP) to kill off

i have to add it gives me both a chance to get to it (1 square or more) and actually get a kill/kills.

and titans should be a team effort

You don't see why slow hunters have an issue needing to get kills? It's called the Titan Medal. The arrival of that secures HCS in trying to make it as fair for everyone as they can. For those players in guilds not large enough to field a full hunting team..its important in working guild RP and individual Titan kill counts.

I assume you dont have a slow computer connection? I'm lucky to get 1 kill in 10 minutes. I chased that elemental titan around for 20 minutes before i finally got my kill. I'm glad i got in early or id never have gotten my hammer.

But my big issue as i've stated before is the system being so flawed that it allows one guild to dominate most of the games best stuff.

Here's an interesting thought. how many guilds would _not_ hunt the titan if the drop could not be resold.

I see that many of the guilds who try for a win are not trying to obtain an item to sell, but more to obtain an item, for members of their guild to use.
