So am I. I dial up my ISP on the phone and order a faster broadband. And that is still pathetic because of were I live.im on dial-up

no offense at all intended to holy, but , common... slower connections are one thing, but considering dialup connections as an example of a "slow hunter" is going a bit to far. (I didnt think dialup even existed anymore :| )
and btw Placeboo... im thinking about hunting titans more... so that would constitute me as a 'hunter' no?... i may not do very well at it atm though

1) when a person arrives on the titan, they seem to be hidden, and don't show up until all of the titan hp is cleared in a square (even though I'm fast, I doubt I was the first on just about every single titan spawn)
2) delay of 3 seconds means that the first person there gets the first kill, period, and chance for more kills. Faster hunters still have the advantage
3) delay means that one person cannot control the map like previously. Corollary: sheer numbers win. Big guilds are favored. Corollary #2: big guilds with fast hunters have even bigger advantage
4) delay means that in the fast hunter's cooldown, slower hunters can make their way to the square, and get a kill. Multiply this by however many slower hunters are out there, and it may as well mean that slower hunters are guaranteed 1 kill per spawn)
5) delay means more stam expenditure. PERIOD. More stam expenditure for everyone hunting. That means more frustration, and less enjoyment for most hunters, considering that. Sure the slower hunters can now marvel and enjoy higher kill counts, but to what avail with #3 and #4?
6) delay means longer and more drawn out titan hunts. Big guilds favored due to numbers. Consequence of #5 and 6? Higher prices by winning guilds.
7) Cheating. As pointed out by several others here, if anything, this ENCOURAGES cheating/scripting. What was the limiting factor for "cheating" previously? Speed. What is it now? 3 second delay and timing.
So based on those observations, what do the changes to titan hunting accomplish? A handful of more kills for people previously limited by connection speed. Other hunters are handicapped, and the playing field is "level"? Titan hunting was a 'sport' within the game, and the update has just made it bland.

This is the main reason why people claim cheating. They think they get to a spot first because no other people are displayed then they get no kills.

There's also issues with last activity not always refreshing. I've seen people hunt refreshing every 3-5 seconds max yet last activity goes up to 45 seconds before going down..
i've tested this before, and last activity time is really meaningless for this. it only updates if you get a yellow unread message, guild log message, or guild chat. basically when you are notified of something, or something *changes* for you. have someone watch you as you walk across the map. then have them watch you kill. no change in last activity time. but if you switch maps (portal), then it resets. really weird. but if you are watching people's KS go up and their last activity time not change, that means nothing (regarding cheating or whatnot).

Well I knew it was meaningless about cheating, but now I know the mechanism for Last Activity going down, thank you for the information.

Please fix the delay you placed on the titans, as you can see from almost any feedback on this 80-90% of the people who participate in titans are not only annoyed by the update but hate it!
I loved having to be on my toes and ready to react as fast as I could to get to a titan, now with this delay they are a long boring process...
I can assure you from all the titans I was hunting there was no automation going on, just people who have done research, and put tons of time into hunting the titans to get better. So there was absolutely no need for this "fix"
p.s if the delay has to stay lower it to less then 1 second as NO ONE likes the 3 second delay

i can cover a WHOLE map now for skally, getting a kills at every spawn. i don't see how this is going to entice people to start titan hunting.
on the plus-side, FFS now has the titan market by the you-know-whats due to the fact that all you really need are numbers now to win a titan hunt.
you turned me from a fast hunter to a really really faster hunter that spends slightly more stam

Have a look at the other thread? Evilbry likes it and he has way more than 50 kills, so do a lot of people who have pm'd me thanking me for being persistent and helping to get some change implemented into titans..

A handful of very vocal people does not have more pull for the better of the whole as opposed to tens or hundreds of regular titan hunters. HCS should, and does find solutions and caters to the largest portion of players, not just who can whine about it the most on the forum or tickets.

Max, think about it. FFS said themselves, that this delay makes you lose kills on the titan, because others get the kill in the 3 seconds you have to wait.
retrospectively, to a person in a guild that usually wouldnt do titan hunts, gets in more kills. they would think it to be nice, and that (in itself) shows that the delay works as intended, enabling more people to get in a kill on the titan, not just the people who can get there first

im getting more kills because my fast connection is rewarded even greater now. sure, someone who couldnt get ANY kills before might get 3 or 4 now, but this update has put a HUGE rift between average connections and fast connection, making it way easier for those with fast connections to rack up kills.
