What do u say about skill which will raise items stats?



This is also a great idea . In Sigma Storm II , HCS has such a skill in the form of a pot ! Micro Processor i think it is called .

I don't have any great ideas for buffs, but personally, if any new buffs are going to be high level, i.e 800-900+, make them fit the following content.

Example - Levels 900-1000 have a large percentage of Undead creatures...so at 900, you make HF available. So whatever the creature type is, create a buff that in some way is effective against said creature. Doesn't have to be damage related either, could be increase in attack, or decreases in the creature's stats, or other enhancement effects.

As a suggestion, to coincide with the recent Elemental Titans, why not carry on with the Elemental theme a bit? 'Water' based buffs against Fire creatures, etc. The buffs could then also be used on the new Titans, which would satisfy those looking for a SES type buff, only these could be more specific.

Anyhoo, just my thoughts for the moment :)



Speaking of the Elemental-Theme:
How about some "Epic-Buffs"?
These could be based on these Titans (Water, Fire, Earth and Air), but can only be allocated when you have accomplished a certain (Epic) quest.
This could also lead to 4 new Epic-quests ;-P

Defender

target player is now the lead defender of the relic he/she stands on. once activated that player is the main defender of the relic until player moves off of relic for the duration of the buff.

note that defender can't be cast on another player on relic if another player on the relic has defender running.

does a few things, can be cast on a relic you are attacking if no player on the relic has the defender buff running. and enables a higher level guild member to stand on a relic if he / she wants to be in stam gear, arena gear, or even naked.



Ill Will 0.05% chance that all bonuses from a target are ignored (ie potion bonuses, relic bonuses, guild bonuses, buff bonuses. etc etc.) works in both attacking and defending

Superior Knowledge 0.1% per point chance to gain no gold for double XP from creatures in combat


will try to think of a few more and post some more later


a few other ideas were good too, like the portal point one, maybe even have portal spots as part of a player upgrade, +10 per waypoint 50,000 gold per portal to waypoint while your buff is active.

and no to the gold bank sniping, only reason half the players can even buy fsp is because of the gold in banks, if the personal banks were able to be targets, the price of fsp would be outragous as personal wealth in gold would no longer be secure

Multi Kill: linked to Doubler, which increases kill streak, titan kill counts and creature kills for quests in general

(Since its a pain taking out high level doublers for quest with x number of kills needed and to reach the titan number of kills within a few weeks instead of years with an average connection, which most of ur player base have!)

Titan Slayer: Something like SES for Titans seems a good idea too

Skip Buffs: Slight chance to ignore all buffs present on the target
(Linked to Spell Breaker and for PvP only)

I want a skill that summons help from a realm outside the game... maybe :twisted: working off the titan theme ..
The Water Titan adds a good damage
Earth Titan adds armour etc etc surely this my only ever reply will be taken into serious consideration ....... Thanks guys And No matter what anyone says you all rock.

Crafts Master? Higher Chance to make item PERFECT.
Keen Blade? Same thing as keen edge but the bonus is in damage.

as i have said before: breakable( or something similar) to counter the effects of UB, could be useful in guild wars, GVG, or on the bountyboard as a deleveling party to destroy crystalline

ok we have keen edge for pvp that says for each set we gain a percentage atk. why not do a damge one like that too or armour or defense...
also for versus CREATURES only why not do a buff similar that says each epic you are wearing you gain a percentage atk and damage?
that will let the guilds with epics not need as many of the hunting sets so those hunting sets should go down in price so that those who cant afford the sets now can every one is happy hunting=)

lol. What if you stole Conserve?

Removing the ability to Bounty a PvP Ladder attack is something I've been thinking about. If enough people want it, I don't see why not. It might be a relatively easy tweak, unlike the rest of the suggestions.

Same old story, everyone wants win key for their style of play.... Leveling is already easy people, now you want more % on damage and att? omg.... PvP: do offline target have more then 1% chance of surviving (same goes to peeps who hunt and get someone to mug them)?? nope, but you now want buff to take gold from bank? omg....
there is few buffs that can be add: enchant shield, same as EW,EA, obviously it should not be lvl 800+ buff, sanctuary would be nice too (0.1 per point), also obviously not lvl 800+buff...
problem with this buffs is: hunting gets rough up there (I guess) so maybe some buffs are needed to make life little easier, but then, crew behind high levels will buy those buffs and we will have faster and easier hunting, more people up in levels=more gold=fsp++++in price= not good!
So make some buff for levelers up there, like add 0.05 % per point on damage per completed set, but it is only self casted! cant cast it on other people..... also I already said somewhere on forum, about gold sink, make some pot on AH (bound, min lvl required is 600 or even higher!) that boost all equipment slots for 10%, starting bid 250k....
For pvp'ers, I saw few interesting things: boost defense with completed sets, but not overpower, something like 0.05 per point, per comp. set.... (also sounds like buff lvl 400 or so ....), hide stats/equipment sounds good too.
Teleport buff is excellent idea imo!
Enchantment breaker sounds interesting, but only PvC, not pvp....
btw please make some useful pots, gold sink you know, DW pot, LF pot, BufM pot... all are cr@p! pot should be stronger then buff lol

conserve just lets you not spend stam randomly... nothing like me taking a buff from you...

took me a while to find an old reply of mine on another topic, but I believe this should be in potion form rather than a 900+ buff

I know this will get shot down by those people who ENJOY so much to wear crystalline gear so much (especially the maximus and gurgriss for the gain bonuses), but I wouldn't mind seeing a potion which allows a chance to destroy some crystalline a bit (or just normal items so the person spends more gold to repair the item). Either

a) A potion with the buff which increases damage done to crystalline items (or just every item). e.g. 0.2% per point increase damage done to crystalline items
or B) A potion with the buff which has a chance to do a certain amount of damage to crystalline items. e.g 0.1% per point chance to choose a random crystalline (or any other) item or and do a certain amount of damage (10%-20% of current durability maybe?) to that item.

though I wouldn't mind this being effective against normal items.

I mean, the only way you can seriously damage an item is from 2 enhancements breaker and disarm.

Disarm being the more damaging, but that obviously by the name disarm, only effects the weapon but it does cut the weapon's current dur by half (which is nice in my opinion :) )

anyways, think I'll stop rambling...most of my ideas are never good.


edit: forgot to add that this could actually be a okish gold sink since people will be repairing their gear alot (crystal, well...can't be repaired..unfortuantly...so more people will have to buy more crystal sets >.>)

Another idea expressed by a friend: Counter Kill- .2% chance per point of taking opponents xp and gold with a succesful defend on the Bounty Board or during pvp.

i'd like to be able to choose a stat and and transfer stamina through a buff in equal measure.
i.e.= 100 stamina for 100 defense. maybe just a short term buff.

also,
how about something cool for low level players that loses effectiveness for each 100 levels.
for example, it's full strength til you hit level 100 then it loses 10%. 20% at level 200 and so forth.
if its a cool buff, the lower level players might be able to make some gold off higher level players.

Maybe a buff that has 0.05% per point, to reduce durability of targets random equipped item by 25%? It can reduce the durability of one piece of equipped gear by 25% on a successful attack.

Add a level 300 skill
+0.05% per point increase to all skill levels that are cast while this skill is active.
Add a level 600 skill
+0.07% per point increase to all skill levels that are cast while this skill is active.
Add a level 900 skill
+0.10% per point increase to all skill levels that are cast while this skill is active.

With a max of level 175 for each skill as is, having all 3 buffs running would give a total of ( level 300 = 8.75 + level 600 = 12.25 + level 900 = 17.5)= 38.5 levels added to each skill that is cast on player with these buffs active!

Of course the percentages can be changed and it is up to the players in those level ranges to decide if the level 600 and level 900 skills need a prerequisite to the level 300 skill.
Also maybe upping the percentages and only the highest level skill can be used instead of all 3 levels :)
