If there's no RP associated with them then they should not be called titans...how a Guild (as a whole...as opposed to the members on quests) is better off coming in 5th place instead of 1st is completely beyond me!


It's simple they aren't intended to be farmed, they are intended to be there for indivuals to kill to attain their quest rewards?

yes, change them to something else, how about we call them elementals, lol. no rp, unlimited hp, how will the lag hold up though with them around all the time though?

I agree but my FSP bank doesn't... I invested Heavily on the above statement *No Further Changes* now the Hammer has dropped <---literally :?

They are and will continue to be farmed as long as you can get RP and kills towards your medal.

Indeed, which is why the medal kills and RP rewards need to be removed from them. NOT people asking for a regular titan drop.. :?

I certainly agree that getting no RP for 1st but RP for 2nd-5th is not fair at all. And I'd have no issue with them changing from titans to something else either.

But I think that even 500 kills is seriously difficult when you have 6-10 guilds fighting for some RP - it is bad enough they move around so much. Take RP out of it entirely is best.

This update is ridiculous, you can't just change the SAME thing over and over.

I think it is completely unfair to those that started "wasting" their stam on hunting the titan to get to 2700 kills and also to the merchants

The main aim of the auction house is to be based on a free market = offer and demand

You can't keep intervening like that, it is now pointless to do any trading, and you penalize a lot of people.

If you make rules, then at least start by respecting them...

I really hope that people don't expect the 500 kills to be handed to them? Epic items are epic for a reason...it should be a serious challenge to attain them. And each of the 4 items is very impressive....thank you to the HCS for releasing them.

How many GvGs/titan hunts are required to gain enough GRP to create the other epics?? A LOT.

I realise that this reduction in kills is required due to what happened upon the titans initial release and over the course of the subsequent days.

Now anyone can have a very nice epic item with a comparatively minimal amount of effort. Fair enough I suppose but I hope that you will reconsider the difficulty level with the future releases that you have up your sleeves??

Yeah, hunting against you was indeed pretty fun :)

If they titans don't spawn too often there will however be enough competition between the quest hunters to make this thing still challenging?

and everyone is for the most part happy but as these are quest titans not regular titans they should not have rp involved at all not for 1st, 2nd, or any other finishing place. there is alot of suggestions to fix the issue including but not limited to just removing rp from the equation on these titans or simply changing them to something other then titans such as the suggested elementals or something all of which are doable suggestions and it makes sense since they are QUEST TITANS. everyone should be able to get the kills without worry of guilds massively hunting them for the rp. other then that hcs has done a great job fixing the issues at hand with the quests thanks for listening hcs now can you please fix the single remaining issue that people keep mentioning and then spawn them so we can get to killing the 500 titans required, thanks

Very cool its a fair compromise. (although I resigned myself to just get my medal with the 2700kils anyway)

Can I ask for one more small change? Keep the titans spawning or give them unlimited HP. NO RP for placing.

Great..doesnt really solve the main complaint, which is that people who complete the quest when they were one kills each still have the stamina usage advantage over those who have to complete the quest now. I dont get why you guys cant reset the quest for everyone, and just unempowered the items that they have on them already, make it so that if they have >1 items because they buy and sell they can complete it up to that amount for that quest...

I'd like to thank the admins for revisiting the requirements to complete the quest.

I realize why they were set so high - because there were never supposed to be more than a handful of these items in the game - but the initial release issues pretty much made that an unrealistic perspective.

However, I would appreciate it if the itemization team would please review the stats on these items. They should be good, but the current stat values of these items are a serious detriment to game balance as things stand. This does not necessarily mean that these items need to be nerfed, but something does need to be done. While items such as the inferno hammer and the master of magic spear have had relatively long runs in the game and it is reasonable to eventually itemize past them, two items in particular present major failures in itemization, specifically the Blue Man of War Sword and the Mace of the Colossus.

Comparing the Reborn Elemental Earth Hammer versus the Blue Man of War Sword, perfect and fully forged, the Man of War sword, despite being an epic and over 100 levels higher than the Hammer, has only 181 stat points more; the hammer additionally has MORE damage, which like it or not is what the vast majority of the playerbase looks for in itemization. The Colossus Mace suffers similarly when compared to the Reborn Elemental Fire Blade. The Mace was in the game less than a month before it was superceded, and it's a Titan drop, for chrissakes.

Therefore, please consider implementing one of the following changes:

1. Resetting all current quest epics to their pre-Reborn values

2. Altering the stats on the Blue Man of War Sword and the Mace of the Colossus to bring them more into line with current epic itemization

3. scrapping the Mace of the Colossus entirely and creating a new epic drop for the Gurgriss titan, which current owners of the Mace could send tickets in and have exchanged for.

Im sorry to say this but you better had not mess up like this again. You cant keep changing your minds as you ended up leaving a lot of us broke in the confusion. Maybe you should discuss new updates with us first so that you wont have to change it after releasing it. I know that would take the surprise out of it but tbh, the last few updates you have done have surprised us in a bad way.

Thank you HCS:) This is a good compromise I believe.:)

On the other hand, I feel no need at ALL for any RP or any bonus going out for highest performing guild on elemental titans. Titan Hunters already have a bunch of titans to go after. No need for them to hog the quest zone too.:)

A suggestion since now the vast majority of complaints are regarding stats how about taking the inferno hammer, blue man o war sword and gurg mace and giveing them a epic quest to reborn them? Even cooler take both and combine them with a new recipe. I no longer use the inferno hammer since the javelin is totally better now. Just as an example make a quest where I must take both my inferno hammer and javelin somewhere,,solve a puzzle (killing something X times is boring) and then lose both items to invent something WAY better,,this mega item could be bound and the recipe one with a bad fail rate so its a real risk to try and do but in the end gives a reward worthy of its challenge. This also works for HCS by taking more epics off the market those who dont want to take the time to do these quests are spending $$$ to get them!

Also please please please give us 25 and 50 epics!
