Did anyone notice an issue with Flinch buff recently? It seems that it stopped working somehow, I'm getting hit when I'm not supposed to, happened quite a few times, during regular hunting and when I was hitting a titan. I asked a few people and almost all of them seem to think they're quite unlucky right now (going through too many imps). If it was just me, could've been variance, but since it happened to others too, I thought I'd get info from a wider player base... Or maybe variance was increased by quite a lot? Can't decide what is more plausible...
Ive had the same problem... I initiated a conflict with Perfection yesterday, had Flinch 175 and Const 175... and i shouldnt have lost... but lost a total of 3x... (one 2%, and twice for this)

Hypnotize makes you miss, not get hit though - I was getting hit time after time by the Colossus, and I had a very safe amount of defense. Me and a guildie had a similar issue with level 895 and 897 creatures, I'm sure we had more than enough defense (with Flinch working), but still got hit much more than usual.
Well, with Hypnotize, there's more chances for 2% failure, hard to say, though. Depends on how much more often you got hit.
I used up 3 times as many Imps while going through the 890s content as Conscar, with exact same setup. Didn't think much of it.

Regarding the other thread, my DC was working properly. No idea if it could be attibuted to some glitch due to many titans out, lag, "can't move more than 1 square" etc. All I know is - I was getting hit -all the time- and going through too many imps with having enough defense.

I think DC is having issues too as not only did I keep being hit when I shouldn't have, I also kept missing when I shouldn't have.
And it was way more times than the 2%, even with being unlucky.

I thought that too, and checked the stats of the actual titan on the map - they were the same as the ones in the guide... Had enough defense, titan kept hitting me, when I used the CST pot and had enough defense without Flinch, he stopped.Could the Ultimate Guide be wrong?

This scares me to think how long it will take to remedy. Tickets regarding bugs take forever!I've filed a ticket.

I didn't send a ticket... Bugs like that take a very, very long time to fix. Best hope is to have Hoof look at this thread.
I hope it takes less time than the Spellbreaker bug

Glad I am not the only one who noticed this. I totally agree that there has been an issue with this. I chalked it up to the RNG a few times but then noticed the issue was rather constant, far more than the 2% rule would imply. Perhaps the %s have been coded wrong?
something tells me the cows have been screwing around in the buff database... (coding new ones maybe?), and something's up with the pre-existing buffs =\
