cancellation of SE kill counts from the epic quests SE's

everyone mad at this should a) pester those on the se kill log B) send support tickets about these kills should not count to medal.



i sent my support tickets

i know as a SE Hunter and others hunters we dont think its far for people to hunt SE in the EQ to earn the SE Metal
we have work hard for our metal and the one,s still working on them we have used alot of stam hunting these SE.
we dont think its fare that they get them from a glitch in the game.and we think that the SE in the EQ should not count for kill for SE metal i hope you fix the glitch in the game.

Hey.... just remember not to lump 'everyone' who gets a kill in the SE kill log with the medal farmers. :?


Some jerkoffs started bothering a friend of mine because they got two that were right by each other.



Hell.... if I sat there looking for hours and find two or so on the exact same spot or right by each other in my path.. I'd kill'em, then leave.... :?

The spawn has been dropped to go along with the other SE. Aside from that i belive it is working exactly how we intended.

If I understood,now it will be harder for those who didn`t completed quest? They didn`t complete it cause there were a lot of SE farmers,and now they cannot complete quests cause spawn rate is reduced?Great.. :roll:

The spawn has been dropped? How does this help? Now it is a lot harder for people to complete the quests. Please remove the ability to kill the SE more than once, and retrospectively take the kills back

Fine, dont remove the count, but how about increasing the map sizes so medal whoring will be more difficult and ppl will HAVE to spend stamina or buy the location?

NO..Those players who didn`t finish quest don`t want more harder quests..SE farmers already made those quests really bad..

Forn,you guys made again error with Epic quests..

For future epic quests,NO MORE SEs and TITANS... :wink:

Like I asked in the other thread, why not make scavaging SEs count toward kills? Then you will spend absolutely ZERO stamina to find and kill one let alone make them spawn 5 times in a super small area, I DON'T CARE THE SPAWN RATE!

These quest SE's either A. Shouldn't be killable more than once or B. shouldn't count towards medal.

One or the other, but something to fix the current farming situation, please.

Then why don't you make it so you can only kill the spider and the minotaur SE once? Can't be too hard if we already have "you need to equip X" types of requirements? After all, they're supposed to be quest creatures, right?

I actually don't agree with allowing only one kill. What if the player's BP or guild store was full? Then it would cause tikets to be sent and players can't complete the quests unfairly. Instead, take away the kill count like scavaging SEs. I prefer to bringing some HONOR back to one of the few accomplishments that actually takes time and talent back to the game. Come on... Hoof agreed, hesitatingly, that using the +1% toward the next upgrade wasn't the way the game needed to go even if it was against every financial instinct and it DID bring some integrity back to the game. And look it probably makes the game more money! Leaving the Epic SE count as is only makes the game easier and degrades what few accomplishments that are left.

Because that would be against the apparent HCS model:
1. Introduce something that generates excitement in the community
2. Become aware of a bug that's being exploited by people.
3. Ignore it.
4. Since there's diminished community interest due to steps 2 and 3, come up with something new and repeat the process.

Cmon, Forn. It's obvious to many of us that what's going on is wrong. Do the right thing, admit you guys made a mistake again, correct it, and move on.

i agree with luis ... i got my se medal a long time ago , back when loc rewards were high and the fi lvl 1k had just entered the scene .. i spent thousands of fsps and tons of lvls worth of stamina to get my se medal and now some nublet can just equip some crappy armor and kill 6 in a row without the need of groups , stats calculations and such .. it would have been better if the se lvl was tied to your current lvl using some equation of a sort ...

You know I can't entirely disagree with what I see HCS' business model to be and it is disparaging. Keep it up and see how far this game goes. You can believe me or not. I'm NOT going to make worthless threats but the more the game's integrity is compromised for whatever reason you will see the game's financial revenue diminish. That is my opinion.

With the risk of permaban I have absolutely no confidence in HCS current "community manager".

You are not listening to players at all, you are creating mess in any update you take part of and you are showing nothing but ignorance on basics of game time and time again . Now you destroyed the value and integrity of the SE-medal at same time messing up the quest since low level players and everyone else doing the quest will have to compete with the medal exploiters.

Sorry Forn, but you had to change the Burning quest because the Elite was farmed (and it respawn every 15 minutes) and now a quest with a SE that will be farmed by everyone? Also again another change on an existing quest? It would be nice if everyone had to make the same quest with the same difficulty.
Ive maxed my adventurer medal and i dont care about SE medal so ill skip the quest, but doesnt seem a good idea. If you drop the spawn rate quest will be more difficult for those who havent made it yet, and if the SE kill counts for the medal, i dont see how all those who earned their SE medal can be happy.

Ok we have been discussing this, we are more interested in it being a challenge for the players. So due to customer feedback we are not going to change the quest-or stats-or anything, but what we are going do is re classify the creatures - to stop any attempt at farming them for medals.

Minotaur of the Lost (Legendary)
Leghra Deathspinner Queen (Legendary)

They will spawn at usual legendary standards and will always be in the game.
there will be no modification on the medal count.
