Peripheral Vision: Branched off Fortitude, .1% per point to your defense for every full set equipped.

What we need are defensive and armor skills to counter the ridiculous number of damage and attack skills currently in the game.

Compare Rage, Fury, and berserk - and their available potion buffs - versus Rock Skin, Fortify, Aura of Protection, Evade, and Great Vigor.

Compare Dark Curse and its' available potion levels versus Constitution.

Compare Keen Edge Versus Flinch.

Compare Savagery versus Nightmare.

Compare Terrorize and the best potion level of Sanctuary available (100) versus Shatter armor, Pierce, and Critical Hit enhancements.

In every single available comparison, defensive buffs lose out to their aggressor counterparts.

There's a reason why the best defense in GvG really is a good offense...

IF ward is implemented, does that mean that we wont get suspended(and/or banned) for casting doubler on someone who dont have the buffs active on them? Because if theyre going to lose stamina for not being smart enough to have that buff on them, then why should the caster be suspended/banned now?

ward has the potential to make it impossible to help out your guild during a guild conflict when they are offline if you can cast ward onto other players. it goes well beyond someone casting nightmare visage on someone with a high attack setup for offline protection. if it's only castable on yourself then it's an ok at best skill. but any of the pvp skills would need to be implemented into the skill tree as being level 800/900 buffs would be awful.

I was just going to say what dragon1234 did. Ward if used as an offense during a gvg or bounty would violate the TOS.

Sorry but apart from 3 or 4 skills, most of them just seem useless..Please come up with something better :)..I don't even know how this voting system works; I mean we already did something similar for Loyalty rewards and nothing happened as of yet.

ward is SUPREMELY ABUSABLE if you can cast it on other players...

avert gaze hasnt gotten nearly as many votes as it should get, probably because MOST players have never met a critter with Hyppnotize

It's a great skill, nothing worse than 3-4 hitting during a hunt with doubler, or hunting a titan with that enhancement. I think it's just getting brushed aside by the skills that are more useful over a wide range.

For a level 900 player, the clear winners are Avert Gaze, Teleport, and Glory Hunter.

For the rest of us? Avert gaze has absolutely no use pre level what, 700? Glory Hunter would probably be nice for anyone who is a hardcore leveler. Teleport, limited usage if you're not a titan hunter or leveler.

Enhanced Dodge has real merit in PvP.

Other than that, these skills are junk.

You mean which three skills are your favorite! Grammar lesson over, I must say much improved skill choices overall -- thanks Big Grim. I would use Teleport to move between my hunting area and the relic area during stamina recharge. Glory Seeker is interesting to me since I usually lose gold through less productive means when I hunt anyway. And Enchant Rune (why not?). Still looking for a sanctuary and dull edge buff outside potions though :)

there are critters in the late 400's (i'm pretty sure) with hypnotize...

also, tsuki has hypno (probably the main use for avert gaze)

teleport probably is a very limited use buff, but whats wrong with that? SE hunters, questers, titan hunters, relic defenders etc could all make smart use of it

There's nothing wrong with them being keyhole buffs, robot.

But, number one, all the worthwhile buffs are focused on leveling.

Number two, these may or may not be limited to levels 8-900.

I'd like to see some buffs that get usage in leveling AND pvp/gvg, personally.

+1
Some other enhancements being enhanced would good too. Several of the answers to armor are located there already, but are in no way reliable for a low percentage of activation, and they dont measure up to their damage counter parts. RA versus PS for example.
The buffs that allow a chance to attack without being bountied, and the immunity to pvp attack are ok as they add a new twist without upsetting any balance. just adds some new variables. they shouldnt be high level buffs though.

Make it .1% per point to your defense for every full set the opponent has equipped. :)

That way it directly comes against KE that it is supposed to work against :)

My goodness, I really hope "ward" wasn't your answer to buff abuse. The possibility of abuse with it is ten times worse than anything already going on.

avert gaze would be a lot more fun and useful if there was a player enhancement for hypnotize instead of just mobs having it.

I like it how they ask us all to come here and vote for 3 skills, only without anyone having taken the time to describe what each does.

I was into this thread at an earlier point but I don't remember what they all are and some of them weren't suggested then.
So what now - we're expected to sift through 43 pages to try to find out what these skills do?

EDit: my mistake, there were only 42 pages at the time of writing.
