Poison
Chance to poison your opponent. Inflicts additional damage against your opponent per round of combat.


When infected by the poison, your Attack/Damage decrease with each round as well..maybe even have their Armor and Defense decrease as well..they are poisoned :lol:

I'm disturbed that these are mostly either useless, or specifically designed for PvP, which few? 800+ care about.

Poison is essentially the same as ignite.
Shadow Tackle has an absurdly high trigger rate.

Leech is essentially the same as Absorb.
Avert Gaze is good versus a tiny handful of creatures making it nearly useless.

Teleport could be interesting depending on implementation.

I take it invisibility doesn't work on the board


No one will even be on the board anymore. Pretty much the death of PvP.


you are right the shadow buff would mean no one would be on the BB but I don't think PvP would die as a result

Nope, you're wrong. I had initially voted for 3 different buffs, but I now just voted for 3 of the lowest vote getters, and each of their numbers increased by one. Hence this poll is officially flawed. A person can vote over and over and over again and increase their numbers. I could prove it if you want. lol.

Going to be looking through the skills thred on a focus on looking for some more good hunting buffs. So basicly if you have not posted an idea on hunting buffs nows a good time to do so :)

That would make it better, and worse depends which person you are.

I know, keep the Shadow buff at 87.5% chance of activating.

But make it negate any gold stealing/lost, any pvp rating taken, any exp taken, etc...
This way People will be able to actually participate in some sort of PvP with an element of risk involved.
The hundred hardcore pvpers won't like it, but those thousands of lvlers will and probably will participate in it more.

Anywho now to be flamed by a PvPer who can't see my point of view.

Also it costs 3 Million to fully empower a relic(With no failures)
How many guilds can constantly do that over and over ?

some of the buffs sound silly allowing the attacker to get away from not getting bountied or hiding buffs isn't much fun and like most lvlers said getting more damage buffs isn't needed. I like teleport skill and it should be available for every player like questfinder. I suggest cows take time and keep positing new skill ideas they come up with and listen to everyone's opinion do it slowly and carefully so you guys don't get hammered like you always do after every new content you release lol

Just for fun, a couple of my own buff ideas :

Special :

* Area Vision: enables a bigger vision of the map. The bigger the level is cast, the more you can see.
* Monster Spotter : tells you in what squares there are monsters (Thus not only in the square you are currently at). The bigger the level is cast, the more monsters you can see.
* SE Spotter : a skill you can chose after you've put some points into Monster Spotter. It enables you to spot SE Monsters in the area you currently are (Thus not only in the square you are currently at).
* Titan Spotter : a skill you can chose after you've put some points into SE Spotter. It enables you to spot SE Monsters in the area you currently are (Thus not only in the square you are currently at).
* Item Selection : if after a succesful attack there would be an item drop from a monster, you will be able to chose what item you get if a monster has several possible drops.


Defensive :

* Backfire Gold : if you get attacked by another player and have lost the fight, the xp loss remains, but you don't lose any gold and get a certain percentage of the gold from the attacker (attacker loses gold in favor of defender)
* Backfire Experience : if you get attacked by another player and have lost the fight, the gold loss remains, but you don't lose any xp and get a certain percentage of the xp from the attacker (attacker loses xp in favor of defender)

(a little note to this : FS could make it so that only one buff of the two backfire buffs can be cast on a player)

* Guild Assistant : when you place this buff upon you and you go offline, then the players of your guild who are hunting will get a certain percentage of your base stats added to their stats. This buff can only be casted on the player himself and is immediately deactivated if he comes online again.
* Guild Force Shield Assistant : A skill you can chose after you have put some skill points into the Guild Assistant skill. This buff enables you to protect lower levels from being attacked and you have to cope with the incoming attack. This buff can only be casted on the player himself and is immediately deactivated if he comes online again. This buff should be limited within a protection range of 25 levels or so.
* Mirror defense : the attacker first hits himself and then hits the defender

in just tried all it did was increase the vote and deducted from my original choice so in otherwords you can just change ur vote

How many of these ideas were actually in the huge suggestion thread that we have? Hardly anything seems "worthy of 800+" like someone said, come on. Also, hardly anything is useful for regular hunting...


I guess this was their idea of revamping pvp. By introducing buffs that destroy it. Invisibility is lvl 400 deflect. No one should ever be immune from pvp attakcs.


I agree but then neither should anyone be immune to bounty, as shadow tackle would do.
