How many of these ideas were actually in the huge suggestion thread that we have? Hardly anything seems "worthy of 800+" like someone said, come on. Also, hardly anything is useful for regular hunting...

I guess this was their idea of revamping pvp. By introducing buffs that destroy it. Invisibility is lvl 400 deflect. No one should ever be immune from pvp attakcs.

I agree but then neither should anyone be immune to bounty, as shadow tackle would do.

Which is why Im also against shadow tackle.

If these are ideas for 800 and 900 skills...only teleport, and perhaps an enchant rune (or enchant items as suggested before) is really WORTHY to be a 800/900 skill. I'm sorry, but after 800-900 levels, the other buffs are pretty lame. All the 700 buffs serve a pretty good purpose, and are worth the trek up to 700. Think critically before adding these buffs for 800/900.

* Item Selection : if after a succesful attack there would be an item drop from a monster, you will be able to chose what item you get if a monster has several possible drops.

0.1% per point..0.1*175=17.5%

Nice idea..Good for scavenging..But,make stamina cost high.

If a buff like Shadow Tackle were to be implemented, there ought to be some risk to the player using it. In normal PvP attacks, the attacker attacks, steals gold and xp and then can be bountied. If this buff kicks in, perhaps there could be a provision that since it's a Shadow Tackle, then the attacker would be denied either the gold or the experience that otherwise might be taken from the player, in exchange for the ability to not be bountied. It would be random. If Shadow Tackle kicks, then xp or gold would randomly be protected, but not both. Just an idea, so that if the attacker chose to buff him (or her) self with it, they would know the risks in advance and might just choose to go with a more straightforward attack.

My personal response...

Poison: both bloodthirst and ignite already do something very similar, as does wither. It would have to do a lot to justify being a high level skill.

Shadow Tackle: stongly dislike this one. People should be willing to live with the consequences of PVP.

Sacrifice: no one hunts with any significant amount of HP. So unless the damage is a very small percentage, this one is useless. (Espeically, bearing in mind, that this were to be highlevel skills)

Osmose: each to their own

Leech: as with sacrifice - no one hunts with HP. Unless it can get stored - at well above one's personal stats - for a long time, I can't see much use for this one.

Enhanced Dodge: how does this relate to evade? If all it does is extend evade from PVP to entities, then its not that good. The best hunting strategies have you knowing a hit is going to be very rare (or will do no damage), and then shield imp mops up the rest.

Avert Gaze: good

Invisibility: if this is a high level buff, then I guess this one will be a good money earner for the high levels. Probably not much personal use to them though.

Concealment: some use for PVP & GVG I guess, but who can you attack at level 900? Another for the income stream?

Enchant Rune: good, but how letting one chose the item.

Teleport: excellent

Notorious: each to their own.

Going to be looking through the skills thred on a focus on looking for some more good hunting buffs. So basicly if you have not posted an idea on hunting buffs nows a good time to do so :)

Go to this thread here and submit some ideas on hunting if you have not already done so.

Teleport and Enchant Rune seem to be well received. Other suggestions, some of which are from the above-referenced thread:

Midas Touch: sacrifices a percentage of xp per kill for increased gold.

Monastic Concentration: sacrifices all gold per kill for increased xp.

Greater Lightfoot: requires maxed Lightfoot, activates at a higher frequency.

yet again same darn pattern that gets me so frustrated:

HCS asks for opinions on subject and suggestions are made , discussions between players with pros and cons and tweaks to suggestions, sometimes qualified, sometimes stupid as will always be the case in online communitys. HCS goes away from the thread after 1 page. Thread dies and with it all good ideas.

Then HCS comes with "ideas" right out of the blue that not even basically checked ( 87,% chance of a pvp-destroying buff to kick I mean w t h) or have any connection what so ever to what has been discussed in the "ideas please" thread.

And then -oopsie daisy here we go AGAIN- a new thread is started.

You just can“t work things this way.

May I humbly suggest:
1. Get forum mods.
2. Learn the game
3. Try to think like different brands of players - gvgers, pvpers, levelers, low and high level, merchants, titan hunters, arena junkies, donators or non-donators. Cause all are important to the game.
4. HAVE A CLEAR PATTERN OF HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH PLAYERS.

I'm pretty sure there are a LOT of people against shadow tackle- PvP'ers and levelers alike. Myself included.

No risk should equal no reward.

That being said, there should be NO reward for having no risk
(ie. getting the option to being COMPLETELY immune to PvP attacks)
*cough INVISIBILITY cough*

It's getting tiring watching people complain of adding more damage components into the game. It's always from people in guilds who hold multiple maxed out relics. If too much damage is a problem for you, let others empower the relics, problem solved. Until you are willing to give up empowered relics, do not complain of the game being too easy with insane amounts of damage. Not all of us can afford to empower multiple relics so we welcome whatever we can to increase damage.

As for buffs, there has been an idea floating around the forums for a very very long time now. Something to allow more XP gain, but decrease gold gain. The idea was brought up a long time ago when people were coming up with gold sink ideas as the MP continued to rise. This was a great idea that many people were behind. And it's still a great idea.

How about fixing the broken aspects of the game first before making new toys?

why, other than to increase the flow of FSP's around in the game and to make more folk BUY fsps ... (ok, i just answered the question there, obviously) are more levelling/hunting skills needed ??

Before too long, if more "WIN" buttons are added, all you will need to do to hunt is click a button marked "HUNT" - it will check your stamina, check your starting level, check the average xp gained from creatures and give you your ending level - all within 30 seconds - and present you with a list of drops from which you can chose which to keep.

I realise you want to maximise your revenue stream, but I'm not convinced that making the game easier and easier is the way to do that ..

Shadow Tackle
0.5 chance per point of being able to attack another player without being identified. The target player will not be able to place a bounty on you.

Or, how about this..

100% chance to hit for prestige only, target loses no gold, exp, or damage to gear in exchange for no bounty?
