Bounty Board Survival Rewards

At the moment, most players want to get off the Bounty Board as quickly as possible so that they lose as little XP as possible. What I propose is that you gain some sort of reward for getting a good defense and staying on the board. The rewards could be 1 or more of these things:
1. A % of the Bounty Reward for each attack you successfully defend.
2. Prestige for each attack defended.
3. A New Medal - "Survivor" - for each attack defended.
4. Any of these could also be rewarded on a time frame scale, so for every 2 minutes after the first 20 minutes, you are rewarded.
Any thoughts or extra suggestions?

Bounty hunting and the board already work well enough as is. Ain't broke, please god no, don't tell the cows to add to or "fix" it.

Someone gets nekkid ==> attacks you countless times ==> Another easy medal/more easy prestige/ etc

I can't see that this would cause that much abuse. Someone may be able to go naked and attack to you lose deliberately but there would still be plenty of real bounty hunters taking the bounty to clear it. Plus, guildmates cannot take bounties so you would need some other allies to do it, which are few and far between. Who would want to waste their stamina attacking naked just so that the other player could benefit??
I know the bounty board aint broke, but this isn't a "fix" is an addition to give some incentive to try and survive on the BB, thus increasing the PvP dimension.

This is one of those often suggested ideas that is usually shot down. The idea is great, just too much room for abuse.
Although, if we added xp loss to losses for the attacker it might cut down on the abuse, but it would still be there.

You could just hire people to attack you naked. Still a very abusable idea.

There are so many others aspects of this game that are abusable anyway. I still think that surviving on the BB needs some kind or reward/incentive. Apart from personal fun, there is no reason to try and defend yourself, you only stand to lose more XP in the long run.
I think the abuse of this would be much much lower than anything else that is currently abused like GvG, Prestige and even the arena to some extent. Given the randomness of Bounties being placed, and the relatively short time they are usually up for, there would only be a very small window of opportunity to hire players.
If the level of the reward was carefully balanced then it could be such that no one would want to pay someone to attack them to lose.
Or, just have it based upon the time you have survived, rather than hits and there is no possibility for abuse. That solves it!

If you want there to be a reward for the board, fix three things: 1. Reset the pvp rankings 2. Add exp loss for attackers when they lose and 3. make successful defenders take twice as much rating as they normally would.

A percentage of the bounty reward would definitely be a bad idea. Currently hunters often go extremely far out of their level range to clear a target; for example, I cleared a level 700+ last night from WK, and I lost as many as I won. What would be the point for the average hunter to take on a good defender with hundreds of levels of advantage?

Well it is not like the attacker would be losing anything by attacking someone a lot higher in levels. I believe that the defender deserves (and should be encouraged too) some kind of reward for defending.
As for your other 3 ideas, definately needed in addition.

And high levels stay on the board for extended periods of time as it is. Taking away a percentage of the reward from someone trying to clear would only increase it.
Unless you're going to start using the board to bring more gold/FSP into the game...
Just doesn't seem workable, is what I'm saying.
