I only read the first ~8 or so pages of this thread before I got bored of finding personal attacks every 1/3 posts
I think it's fascinating to see some people compare titan hunting with BH, arena, and SE hunting; "why aren't you limiting people to winning those as well?". just the desperation in making such a comparison entertains me, since there's no monopoly in either of those game areas. not even close. there are atleast a 100 more SEs, bounties and arena tourneys that spawn every day compared to titans. I thought that went without saying but apparently not
I'm not a fan of the second suggestion, frankly it's terrible. I'm still standing by my suggestion. Groups. There's a threshold of participants in every bloody sport/game out there, so why not this? You can only measure competition when every other factor is put into a control group. unlimited participants, heavily influenced by location and connection. Seriously, no one should be surprised things have gotten this bad. And no guild is to blame when the implementation was so poor and imbalanced to begin with.
Thats right, however when a guild fights to maintain the stanglehold then a line must be drawn.
We have made and supported this suggestion, but were promptly flamed for doing so. How many members should be allowed per group? 4? 8? I ask because if I were to suggest a number I am sure I would accused of some kind of ulterior motive.
