HCS has just been pushing out yes or no polls for random idea's I personally think it would be much more effective to have a poll with multiple idea's so here goes.

1st options (for time and speed)
Delay of
0 seconds
1 second
3 seconds

2nd options (restrictions on guilds)
*Unlimited participation (no restrictions on #'s or wins)
*Guild can not win 3 in a row
*Guild can not win 1 in a row

Option 3
Unlimited hunters
7 or less

4th option (helps even the playing field, and possibly lower times)
*Titans spawn on a square from 1-20
*Titans spawn on a sqaure from 10-20

5th option (movement)
*Keep movement as in
*Implement a system that can allow people to move up to 3 squares at once

6th option (rewards)
*Keep current RP
*Switch to Titan rp with similar 100. 75, 50, 20 reward scheme
*have a dynamic Titan Rp where your guild is awarded according to the percentage of kills they get
(this system will give something to everyone who participates)

This should cover most of the suggestions and the current new and old systems to see what the community would really like to see. Please chose 1 from each option (total of 5 votes)

I believe the problem will be that people do not properly comprehend what is being suggested. I already see 2 people who voted no to the movement suggestion, yet I have never seen anyone who understood it say anything against it.

I went:

1 second delay to speed things up but prevent scripting.
Unlimited wins to allow everyone to compete all the time.
Up to 7 hunters, to reward organisation and dedication over pure numbers.
10-20 kills, so all squares are valuable to some extent.
Current movement, because I think faster players deserve some advantage and currently speed is not the real issue. Any movement system would need to be opt-in to preserve this, as has been suggested.

Then finally the big change: Titan Points from 2nd-5th, as I think this is the best option for encouraging fair competition in a positive rather than restrictive manner. Not rewarding everyone also maintains the competition aspect and the 'Race for Places', although I wouldn't be against the other system either.

Edit: For Khanate - whilst I do like your movement idea I can't see a way of implementing it simply, so for the moment I'm sticking with the current system. I wouldn't be against it if it went into the game though, so it isn't a vote 'against' the idea from me.

Well....you forgot to add limiting the Titan hunting teams to a number attainable by most guilds.

if you want more comprehension you can put a link :) I just tried to include most of the idea's to get a better vote then the simple yes no to just 1 suggestion :)

Option 2: Movement not limited to "1 square at a time", but limited to 4 movement request queries per second; opt-in in preferences.

As it is optional, no one's speed is lowered by this, only some are accelerated."

I cast 5 votes. I'm not sure what my opinions are on limiting hunters... Its a guild activity, so there shouldn't be a limit. But at the same time a limit would encourage more guilds to try....

I voted for 1 second, unlimited wins, 7 hunters, 10-20 titans, current movement, and % awards as I feel those would be the best solutions to titan's in general :)

I voted, but I honestly don't know if this thread can achieve anything, for a lot of reasons.

I think khanate's TKP thread should probably get more attention than this one, to be frank.

I dont disagee with it per say, I just think it would make things even more complicated, I have no problems with the suggestion if it was implemented, just went the other way with my vote

It's a complex problem; a complex fix is probably what's required to best address it.

Khan, I think the biggest thing is many won't understand the concept or how it could work. Those of us who have discussed the intricacies over the last month or so since the concept was first raised have even at times had issues getting our heads around the finer points. It is a good idea but it may take a bit for the average player to grasp.

I'm in favour of minimal intervention initially - if the TKPs don't sort things because of a speed disparity then maybe introduce a complex coding solution involving caching movement to 4 per second (as an opt in). I just don't think that is the fundamental issue, because any broadband connection is more than adequate for titan hunting right now.

Yeah I agree that it may take some headwraps to get around, but leos3000 hopefully understood it and still voted against it. Hence me asking him why :)

Lets face it....the original amounts I suggested are right about where you guys hunt with now. So its not going to hurt people from not being able to Titan hunt. It's just going to assure other guilds that they at least have a fighters chance if they can max out their team as well.

It changes nothing in terms of you guys still being the best.
